goal weight 124 pounds

ideal weight 120…yippee if I get to it!

I guess I’ll use this thread to monitor, log what I eat and any exercise I squeeze in, confess losing to temptation(hopefully not), and hopefully reach my goal weight or even better my ideal weight.

I will start tomorrow. Family’s visiting in August so I have plenty of time before I might lose myself to temptation of mom’s heavenly cooking.

Wish me luck or motivate me or join in…whatever you wish.

breakfast
aged cheese organic wafers
29 of them were at 180 calories and 4 grams of fat

lunch
boiled egg salad with spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, tiny bit of ranch dressing

chai
40% reduced fat cheese-its

green smoothie(spinach, kale, frozen blueberries, strawberry, flax seed, protein powder)
30 minutes of speed walking up and down a hill

dinner
Progesso soup wild rice with boiled vegetables

yesterday I lost to temptation so not mentioning what I ate and plus I didn't get to exercise either.

Today I tried to follow a similar menu as before.

Eliminate all sugar and I'll guarantee you'll lose weight. Cut out all processed foods, soda, junk food and eat veggies - minimally cooked , some nuts...and fresh fruits. Limit juice intake as well. You'll stop having cravings and feel like a million bucks.

I do eat loads of veggies and fruits it’s when I have a platter of food for a conference or a lunch meeting that people tend to get the junk like sandwiches or cakes. My boss makes some really good stuff. So it’s those times of temptation that cause issues. I was 125 before the holidays in december and losing those 5 pounds is turning out to be a difficult task.

I speed walked outside with loads of flies and bugs around....gross.... but i'm currently at 128.8 pounds. Go down

Still at 128 pounds but then again it's been crazy so I haven't gotten a chance to get exercise in which can only be done at night

I was 167.8 when I first started trying to loose weight last summer. I worked out, ate better, etc and became 139. However, ever since school started, I gained some of it back and became 143 .

I started doing bhikram yoga this week.

Yesterday, I ate some shrimp biryani, but still remained under my calorie goal of 1200.

Today:
I ate strawberries for breakfast, salad for lunch and will be eating chicken tikka for dinner. My weight this morning was 141.8 :)

My goal weight is 135 by June 16th, 125 by Eid…. and ideal weight is 115.

I will try to post here as well to get inspired and remain motivated.

Hi I am 164 now and goal weight is 126 but I like to set myself small goals of 5lbs increments. That way I dnt feel overwhelmed by the task.

first goal is 159. I have eliminated all junk from my diet and eating to hunger. No overheating and I have stopped counting calories as well. Lets c how it goes.

^ I feel like counting calories helps me b/c I can eat w.e I like as long as it is in small portions.

You are in the same boat as I was a year ago. I also trie dot loose it in 5 lb increments. I also bought myself something as a gift to celebrate reaching my mini-goals. I would usually buy clothing that was just a little tight. Ex: I would buy a medium instead of Large or get a size 8 dress instead of 10. This inspired me to loose more to fit into those clothes. I went from a size 12 to a size 8. I fit into a size 6 pants that I had bought as inspiration just recently.
Just don't give up and keep going!! It is hard but just think about what you can accomplish by keeping at it. If you slip up, just pick up where you left off.

Today, I had a bowl of strawberries for breakfast, Gosht salan with 1 slice of bread for lunch, fat free pringles as a snack. I also attended a 90 minute Bikram yoga class. I am planning on having salad for dinner and popcorn at the movies without butter.
This should keep me under my 1200 calorie goal. :)

OooOOoo I went to the gym for only 10 minutes… then hubby wanted to leave so we came back home. But hopefully, I will start going to the gym at least 5 times per week for 30 minutes each starting on Monday.

Mizsani I am feeding my baby so I felt that counting cals was not working for me. Otherwise I used to be a mfp junkie.

This weekend I have resisted kababs, parathas, nandos, garlic bread, and soda. Am feeling very proud of myself.

On weekends, I take full diet, In breakfast, paratha omlete and proper lunch and proper diner. Avoiding all kind of junk and drinks / juices. No chocolates (I dnt like sweets).
So normal ghar ka khana, roti chawal and Thanks to ALLAH, i have reduced a lot and insha ALLAH. I will achieve my last targeted weight in next 2 weeks.

Yesterday, I had one sunny side up with 1 slice of bread for breakfast, exactly 1 cup of rice with ½ cup of kadhi for lunch, same dinner as lunch, and a pack of m&ms :( I did go to my bikram yoga class.

I feel like I ruin it at night by eating junk food.

Today, I had ½ a cup of kadhi for lunch (hahahha… I made too much obviously and trying to finish it). I skipped breakfast, attended bikram yoga class. I plan on having palak chicken with two slices of 40 calorie bread.

My weight is still the same but I do feel a bit thinner.

How often do you weigh yourself? I weight myself almost everyday. I am a scale addictaddict

I am the same way. I have the scale in my restroom so every morning I weight myself and sometimes randomly during the day :'( I really should focus more on the measurements but I don't like taking the time to record them.
