I was wondering if anyone here plans to start a weight loss thread again,i find it very motivating when you have someone on the same boat as yours.

I'm up for it since I desperately need to lose the tiny amount of fat around my gut. Hope you're still checking this thread and no bailing out on me. You can create a thread and I'll update it with what exercise I did, food i'm eating, and how much weight i've lost (or gained if I lose myself to chocolate :(). I defo need a weight loss buddy because it's the holiday season and tempting food is everywhere.

btw what amount of weight do you want to cut down..i am 55 kg..need to get down to 45 kgs.. but now i have ditched the scale..il only measure myself twice a month..and after yearsss of endless struggle..finally now i have control over my appetite and portion sizes..and i am quite positive about it :)

If you’re going to start on January 1st then after visiting family and eating our family feasts I’ll probably have to say about 10 pounds. right now it’s 7 pounds but i’m guessing my mom and sis in law are going to make all my favs and temptation will be everywhere and I always lose to it.
My stomach region and arms are my trouble spots. Hoping to tone those by exercise and eating right again. The ab muscles are toned under the fat…
…I just can’t get rid of that thin layer of squishy fatty part of my tummy above the toned muscle from the sit-ups I do.
i usually do have control over what I eat because it’s out of sight out of mind when it comes to all the tempting food. I just don’t buy it but I have no control over what others put in front of me. January 1st sounds good.

Count me in as well dear. I want to loose atleast 12 kg of weight. Im 68 now and I want to be around 55-56. I can't do exercise due to tough working routine. and also have a baby to take care after n before office hours :(
What diet shall I take dear? what u did to lose ur weight?

i'm visiting family til the 4th and unfortunately it would be hard to stick to healthy eating then........I'm not sure what people that are watching their calories do during the holiday season.

I totally get it losing into the temptation plus when everyone around you is trying to feed you so much.I am a shy person I cant even refuse that much, cause then everyone makes fun of me that you have been trying to lose weight since forever :( :P lol
I just had an oily roti,though after ages,but i feel baaaad..
For now im doing 30 minutes elliptical and level 1 30 DS x 2
But im quite worried since where ever i saw its results online..the change wasnt that impressive visibly..but lets see inshallah..

you two can start the thread on Jan 1st but since I'll still be stuffing myself with yummy fattening food unfortunately til the 4th, I'll get full on the weight loss goal on the 5th.

Count me in too ! Want to lose 2 kgs a month (sounds reasonable) and have an iron rich diet.

Why don't you girls..do skype thing between all of you?. Like say..if ya work out at home?? And eat according to your blood type. Google up food requirement according to your blood type and try it that way. Remember it is all about eating in small portions and burning it right away. Even walk after lunch or dinner would do wonders.

If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more.
For instance, if you take in 1,050 to 1,200 calories a day, and exercise for one hour per day, you could lose 3-5 pounds in the first week, or more if you weigh more than 250 pounds.

My goal weight is 120 pounds and I will weigh in tomorrow morning to give my present weight
