Re: weight and beauty
I completely agree with you Niksik. A couple of years back, I was always having back pain, neck pain… you name it. I thought it was the way I sit or my bed or the fact I was always on the computer… whatever. When I started at the gym regularly, it all disappeared within a matter of weeks. I really need to get back to that
And something I wanted to say before is that we all (me included) need to face up to the fact that we over eat . Everyone is so focused on this calorie allowance… which really, does it come from science or the food industry? That we ignore the fact that before 60 years or so ago, we were healthy and eating a lot less… we still had energy to function well. I think people have been trained to believe there is something wrong if they are hungry, when in fact, it’s completely normal to be hungry and wait until a meal time. From a religious perspective, fasting is prescribed so must be beneficial to our health.. and we do manage to survive and function in that fasting state.
So true! Our portion sizes are huge. Even if you are eating seemingly healthy food, if you eat a big portion it means you had consumed more calories and at the end of the day it all adds up.
