u mean dha golf club yes its awsome place .i attended my couisn valima over there with hanif rajput deocr and catereing but i think either u should get a membership first to book it or book thow some member of golf club. without it they dont book it i guess

i dont think therez any vacant place till dec in dha golf club too as my bro in law has personal relation ships wiv hanif rajput and they were like saying aap koi bhi vacant ground arrange ker lein we will do the deco n all done ..coz they dont have any vacant lawn running under Hanif Rajput...not even SHANAI lawn near millenium mall thatz owned by Hanif Rajput

for shadi we r not at all preferring for going to ur so called so so halls so we r looking for a ground weve seen a ground behind national stadium in kda scheme n hanif rajput was saying dont u worry if we dont find any we will place the tent in front of our own house lolz

Hey Guys,
Can you please help me out ? I am going to Karachi in late Fall to get marry. The date is not fixed yet.
I have no idea about lawns or hotels? I am looking for some decent lawn or hotel not very expensive. I have heard about Sadabahar, Sadequain etc. but no idea about priceing. We will have around 400 guests.
Please guide me.

fasaadi great venue food is horrible coz u have to get it catered from them only i think if u can do otherwise teh venue is great.
u can also try golf club and area 51 or marina get yr own catering and its really how u get the tentage set up and teh design and all

Carlton is beautiful for outdoor weddings as long as it's not around July- sept. My aunt had her wedding in august, it rained lightly they day and all of those ants that come out during the rainy season covered the dining tables entirely making them almost black. The food from our experience was pretty decent and regardless of the hotel u pick, they will not allow u to get catering from outside since that's where they have the highest profit margins.
If u wanna cater go with some wedding lawn. Golf club is also beautiful.

my mehndi took place in a lawn.. it was the nicest one i could find.. with clean carpeting, clean upholstery... good decor.. (though i did get the stage made myself)... and not very expensive

when u do booking plz make sure that venue is reachable for all because hotels like carlton hotel is quite far and some people get into trouble reaching there.
Kashmir Lawns are good . If you can come to North Nazimabad side there u will find soooo many wedding halls and at different rent rates.
Avoid anything near the sea if it's out in the open. Was invited to a wedding at the Creek Club but unfortunately arrived at a sewage plant.

thats a very good point, having the location of the wedding close for the majority to reach.. even though our home was in defence, everyone else from my family and his lived in nazimbad.. it would have been stupid to hold the wedding in one of the club houses in clifton like i initially wanted to... keep karachi traffic in mind as well as where majority of your family members live...

thanks everyone...I cant do much about the location, I mean if its close for some, it will be far for others. im just having problems with picking a place for the mehndi now! i feel so bad, my mother in law is going crazy trying to find a place that allows mehndis and comes at a reasonable price.
