and which hall or ball room is availabe on these days?
i know they ve so many halls kohinoor,mahnoor,dilkusha ,marque, but marque is too big for thousand ppl at least but when u just enter pc and on right side there is ball room ask for it as well and i dont knwo if they ve more halls i saw only these ask about all halls names if possible
my dad recently went to PC.. n he said they have made a marriage hall in place of pool.. marque is available.. n so r other halls but after 10th.. why dont u book hall now? its already too late.. u wont even find 12 22 agar ab bhi susti ke.
So I had posted a topic earlier asking for help regarding wedding venues, but recieved no replies. My sister is getting married in December and our family in Karachi have suggested the Marriott Hotel as that is the only available place left. Apparently all the good venues get booked one year in advance. So, it seems like that's our only choice. My question to everyone is regarding their experiences at the Mariott. How was the food, decorations etc. Which hall did people book and what were the costs.
Any information would be extremely helpful, thanks very much in advance. :)
well sada bahar on tariq road is reli gud...its a lawn...and in north nazmabad florence iz quite gud...its in block H....well there are plenty of dem on sakhi hassan...u ppl havta go there n c them urself n ask 4 da details...book them as soon as u can cuz wedding season will be on its peak in december!!! as far as clifton iz concern hotels r a gud choice if ur der...wat about markis??? it's so much in these dayz n luks so stylish!!!
Thanks, actually my family doesn't live in Karachi, so we're depending on family to take care of everything. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll tell my family to definately look into those places :)
Okay so here's the update, the Marriott is no longer available, we waited too long. Now my family is looking at the Tulip Lawn which is across from the restaurant "Lal Qilla". Has anyone heard of this lawn and can comment about the quality?
ASF Ground & CAA club are near Jinnah International Airport.
Golf Club Karsaz is inside Naval Base, security wise this should be the best place. since its off Share-e-faisal from one side and national Stadium on the other, right in the city center!

I have also heard about ACROPOLIS?? How is this place? Is it worth having your reception there.

I don’t know whether this is the White House you are asking about but I have never heard about it. The site I found for you is ess than 5 minutes drive away from Karachi International Airport towards Malir Cant.
yes acropolis it's nice place like white house, it's near to BBQ tonight, my relative's wedding over there n they paid 2,50,000pkr for 1night function at tht time, i dnt hv contact no of them.

Belongs to Mian Pervez--the owner of LG in Pakistan. Has immense parking... Has indoor as well as outdoor arrangement with adequate space. Well maintained....

Thank you so much for the info. I actually thought White House was a banquet hall. Someone had their mehendi there. This White House looks more like a guest house. Does this place has a huge lawn where you can hold events. I will ask my friend for the mehendi pics and shall post them here.
Btw, does someone have pics for Gulf club. Heard its an awesome place to hold events.
