That's where my cousin was married -- it was lovely. Both venues are nice, but it depends what kind of look you want.

acropolis and other wedding venues
did any 1 attend wedding in acropolis i heard
acropolis is not a hotel but its one of the most beautiful wedding venues in karachi? where it is located.
does any 1 know is there any lawn in pc hotel?
i m looking for good lawn in karachi for wedding or valima
help....

acropolis is definetly a beautiful venue..its in clifton next to the famous Bar B Que tonight restuarant... near bilawal house
i dont know the exact cost but have attended weddings there and heard its too expensive

i recently inquired a decorater about the cost of acropolis (also known as white palace) n he told me that it starts off only the lawn w/o decorations cost around Rs. 150,000. As far as a lawn at PC is concerned..im not sure abt a lawn there but they recently have renovated the pool area n have put on a big marquee there!

seems like its 2 expensive place.. means lawn booking,decoration and food they will charge seprately every thing?perhead how much it cost?
and they have their own decoration n catering system or they allow wedding planners to decorate?

i myself live in US so i didn't knew abt venue places at karachi...i contacted this decorater/caterer in karachi n i asked him about the good venues n thts when he mentioned acropolis....he said just the booking of the lawn is 150,000 and then decoration n food is extra...u can have it from them or hire one for urself...but yeah 150,000 is only for the lawn space with tables n chairs...thts abt it!!!!!

girls n guys telme some lawns and indoor halls in a middle of city (karachi) but dont tell me about pc shereton n marriot because these hotels dont allow the food from outside and these hotels dont have taste in their food as u all know.remember middle of the city like clubroad,kashmir road,shareh faisal,tariq road etc but dont go to north nazimabad or defence

well.. there is a lawn near hassan square.. opposite pizza hut (gulshan-e-iqbal wala) .. its name is "PIA garden" .. its best if u want ur own decoration n cattering etc.. there r so many lawns near pizza hut (gulistan-e-jouhar wala) .. FAMILY lawn is good .. Hill top is one famous one near jouhar chawrangi..
hmm n there r many in sakhi hassan.. its famous for lawns.. gentry is a good one there..
ab lawns to kher bohat hian but the best thing to do is visit them all personally.. coz they r not wht they actually show u.. soch samjh ke select karna..

Hm...I'm not sure. Mine was not in the middle -- it was in Creek Club and it worked out well. It seems like there are tons of lawns there.

Dont they have the KDA lawns on Kashmir Road next to the Sports complex that are used for shadis.

My mehndi was at Alig Lawns...its close to sir syed university ....we got our arrangement done from Hanif Rajput....turned out great....would fully recommend the lawn n the caterers...

^i have heard so much about alig lawns. i attended a wedding there when i last went to pak- its centrally located and so pretty!

yup alig is a good lawn as well.. centrum is good too.. n sadiqain as well..

We had Hanif Rajput (I think -- name sounds right) cater our wedding as well. Absolutely delicious.

there is also one behind millenium mall in gul stane johar its some thing like drive in something??....and before (i think its called) awami markas there are also many i think they are called tulips i was there once at a wedding many years ago

There is one in Bahadrabad called Sadabahar… it is sooo prettey! but a bit pricey.
Also there is a line of wedding halls/ laws around gulshan chowrangi (not too far from tariq road), maybe you could look there
The Bara Dari I know of is located in North Karachi, quite far from PC… so maybe there is more then one
