I would not recommend the farm house,, they are only good if you know someone.

I recently attended a shaadi in this new place called ROHTAS and everything was excellent. Food, staff and decor all very well done.

The location is the key to this place ,, its in central islamabad,, in F-7 near the post mall. I got their card from the manager specifically to share it with others,, but now I cant find it.

Sarena is good,, but didnt like the food.
Marriott is good but mostly booked.
HolidayInn is 2 star
Pearl Continental is good,, food is 2 star.
ROHTAS,,, its new,, excellent Food(especially, Live BBQ), location, service and decor.

best western, margalla motel, manyyy others on rawal dam road, envoy and de pape in blue area ...i heard adventure inn is good too

I have seen some lovely weddings taken place at embassy lodges...but dont know if it needs some reference or so.

my valima n my nands wedding took place at margalla , their hall is really nice and the foood is to die for and i am not even exaggerating . forget the whole shy dulhan thing i stuffed myself on my valima , obviosuly movie ws nt made ahahah

thanks guys for all the help, i have chked out a lot of places, i have to admit that im inclined towards this place called ROHTAS in f-7/2. The location is ideal, people these are very helpful, and i strongly recommend it. i'll take my aunt for the final decsion, im sure she'll love it.

hey nima i heard rohtas did a renovation btw what r they offering u perhead???i went there b4 their renovation i thikn i should visit them again...btw have a look at best western too its one of the best hotels of isb....

Yeah Rohtas has renovated. I did check Best Western, they are charging Rs.35,000 just hall rental, and their menus start from Rs.700/per head, where as im getting little better hall and menu for Rs. 15,000 Rs. 500/head. Rohtas is offering launch discount, but their price is going to go up. What i really like about the place is its location... very easliy accessible, esp for islamababies.

Hey ..has anyone attended a farmhouse wedding in lahore? In that case did the ones doing shadi own it? or can u just get one for a day somehow?.. also do u know any spacious lawns that can accomodate some 500 to 600 people.

My friends getting married in Islamabad and shes a hijabi so she wants a female or no professional photos at all...your help is much appreciated.

hey stylo .. if u were asking me.. then yes i was talking about lahore. also my cousin is a hijabi and so she got her shoot done from maram and aabroo. but thats in lahore. theres also Bunty. in lahore aswell. maybe u could call these places up and ask them if they travel.
