omg, girls, i just placed the order for my wedding and mehendi outfits tonight! i’m so nervous now… its all up to God now and the kaarigars and the lady i spoke to and i hope they come out beautiful…
one more stress added to the giant list of stresses that is wedding planning. le sigh.

the dress has a champagne/tan color base with olive green, darker tan/light brown, and hits of off-white and lighter green (almost chartreuse green) kaam. the shirt is the darker tan/light brown color (not sure how to describe it-hrm, maybe the color of really really really pale milk chocolate?) with kaam done on an olive green border on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt, and the neckline. the dupatta is the same color as the shirt with an inner panel of net with kaam on it, surrounded by an outerpanel of silk with no kaam and then a green border to match the shirt with lots of kaam, which is the outer border of the dupatta. it sounds confusing, but it really is pretty!

hon, all i've done so far is book my venue, book my mehendi lady, and ordered my clothes! i've got SO much more stuff to do, and you really need to get moving! especially if you're getting stuff made from pakistan.

I know!! I'm going to pak in three weeks so inshallah will get everything then.. i've pretty much done most of the other stuff, though. Only thing left is clothes and mehndi lady.. but clothes is such a big thing that it reeeaally stresses me out.. have you already been to pak, groovy chick, or do you have someone there getting your things?

my mom's going in april to get some stuff for the mehendi, like trays, decor, bridesmaids outfits, andrew's shalwar kameez, groomsmen's shalwar kameezes etc., but no, sadly, im here in toronto. i know this lady who takes orders and then gets them made through her sis in law in pakistan. she's extremely good!
her ready-made lehenga's are so gorgeous but im a fussy biatch and i want my own colors :P
