Being the groom u have to take initiative in organising ur own side of the affair. You’ll have quite a time getting ur baraati’s together. Other than that wear a big smile at all times. you will be too bsy drooling once then bride get there to do anything else anyway. Oh and please don;t be a miser when it comes to the joota chupai or whatever rasm ur brides family does. Try to keep things under control. Its good if ur friends participate but don;t let them run their mouths too much warna things can get ugly. We negotiated the figure upfront and had an idea of what to expect. We didnt want to ask for an amount he couldn;t afford and him giving us 1/5th of what we asked would be embarassing for him aswell as us. So we sorted that out upfront to avoid any sourness at the wedding. He actually surprised us by giving more than what he had said. Such a cutie
