Wedding set

Re: Wedding set

Pyaari depends on what jeweller you are buying 'em from. Most jewellers have to give an authencity certificate for the jewels.

In Pakistan, rubies and peridots and amethyst are not that expensive.
They become expensive when they are exported to western countires.

You could go to Swat and Gilgit and have people sitting on the side of the road selling Amethyst clusters for dirt cheap.
There will be pathan kids sitting in Baara selling clusters for a cheap price.

If you really wanto be sure bout the authencity of the gem you are buying, get them evaluated which ofcourse comes with a fee.

Because the stones are cut and polished you cannot just look at 'em and say okay this is authentic. The meters are used for cut stones. Actually they can be used for uncut specimens too for people who find it hard to study cleavages, fractures and stone structures.
It involves certain tests, each test will have a certain result for certain stone.

Re: Wedding set

Ok this is slightly offtopic (or not, idk) but what is costume jewelery made of? more specifically, lets say a pair of "dimaond" studs from Forever 21 are like $3...and at another store they're like $30, i mean are htey thesame material or wat, that 1 is cheaper than the other? they're both completely costume jewelery, not even cubic zirconia....
