I’m formally getting engaged in three weeks but my fiance proposed to me earlier on a beach here in ny. It was sunset and he had written “will you marry me?” all over the sand and put rose petals and tea lights on the sand. It was toooooooo cute. The pic is not so clear but its a total weight of 2.5 cts and its pear shaped just how i wanted it!!!

Thank you! Yeah i know MashAllah....I had seen this in Tiffanys when we wnt together and had liked it a lot but they were quoting it to be toooo expensive...he actually went back and got it

tears....cant wait till the 14th now haha we r going to be celebrating independence day and our engagement..will post pics then!

ahhahaa fasadi...yes I told him I want the wedding band NOW!...then we later decided that on the wedding we will take the diamond out and get a new setting....this is from tiffanys so we r planning to get a tacori design with the pear diamond in the middle

I'm the same, i'd be happy with diamonds but only b/c of their value. Otherwise i like things which are haat ke. diamond rings all tend to have the same boring design

haha I dont blame you, I think its smart to buy the band with the engagement ring so that they’ll match perfectly.

My fiance got me a gorgeous ring, I don’t think I’d ever want to upgrade or change a thing because of the sentimental value associated with it. Him and my family planned for months, did everything and hid it all from me. When I say the proposal was a total surprise, I mean I never went to a single jewelry store with him. Luckily my sis knew what I liked :jano:
