But i just asked my mother and she said that the woman who sits in mayyoun for 7 days her first wish is granted without a doubt - these days we just make the bride sit only a day or two but its necessary to make her sit for 7 days complete and perhaps thats why they also say that the bride sitting in mayyoun should not me left alone since the negative energy or jinns gets attracted to her
