So I think most of the mayyoun/mehndi rasams are crap. At least, they’re fun during the function but afterwards, like keeping oil in ur hair, not showering, or **not being allowed to leave the house **are just very unrealistic to follow in this day and age. And even though it IS possible for me, i dont go to work or school, i still think its crap.
Did any of you follow these rasams? what do you thinK?
when i was in mayoun (for about 3 days) i was in the same clothes during the day but changed at night.. and i showered everyday! with the oil.. thats totally upto u... and i went out pretty much everyday...
watever the case, these are all hindu rasame... so dont need to be soooo strict about them...
Oooh no 4get that, you dont have to become a scrubber and be drenched with grease to get that WOW factor on ur day, jus keep ur clothes plain n simple and light/no makeup will still give you that glow or roop on d wedding. This is what alot of girls that i know did.
Wow..sara..im amazed that ure following all this! u should totally go wid what u want to do..i mean y not take shower if one needs to? **
**so how many days r left in ur shadi now? u must b really excited..haaN? i wanna c ur engagement pics if u have em..plz!
Lol zainab i’M NOT following htem !! But i know traditionally that’s how it is and it’s kinda weird tht ppl xpect u to follow them, esp the not leaving ur house, etc.
^ are u expected not to leave ur house? i know girls are expected to in pak as well to just stay at home and stuff but like u see soooooo many girls in yellow outfits roaming Liberty haha.. i was one of them..
i agree with saima-uk as well, the whole no-makeup thing on the mendhi day is cool… u look really good :k:
Lol it'l proberbly feel normal again to wear make up after the wedding seen as tho youl have had extra on, on the wedding. I can go without wearing it but i feel realy ****y when i see someone else whos done up.
