hi…yaar koi batah saktah hai peshawar mai konsaa achaa parlour hai … maine uder depliex deekha hai aur makeup bhi karwaya thaa “party makeup” but mujhe kuch kass nahi laga i mean buhut ziyadah toobtay hai woh foundation…upper sai agar lips achay bhi hu tuh upper lips zaroor banatay hai …koi hai achaa parlour peshwar mai for “bridal makeup” or “party make up” but i must sai woh log photoshoot buhut achaa laitay hai really great … ???

new to the forum here but u guys are saviours i have been shtting briks out here not knowing wat to do ...
i live in dubai i am to go to lahore to ge married and then move on to peshawar further...
i need to know are there any gud parlours in peshawar ma guy has no ideas at all... he has not stayed there much like me... but please if there is sumone here...
how much does an average wedding dress in rupees cost in lahore... i am not too fussed about designer i jus want it to be gud... suggest me places i can go to and pik things up also how does the jewellery thingy work out there,,, does one have to go hunting for that as well... or comes with the clothes i don wanna gold thats not matching etc...
wat r the gud parlours in lahore... any advices on selecting the parlour in lahore...

I can help out with Peshawar. I got my makeup done at Depilex by Shahana. Depilex is where most girls go to get their makeup done and the results vary. I asked Shahana to keep it light and the result was pretty good. So I suggest you get Shahana to do your makeup and tell her exactly what you need done. They have other services like facial, mani/pedi etc in their bridal package and that was just average.
For Lahore, i'm sure others can help you out.

I had my reception done in Peshawar and the make-up was abaolutely superb and not to mention the photos - there were out of this world. The beauty parlour is called Aroobs and its located in Hayatabad - i am not too sure where you live though!
The beauty parlour is on the ground floor and the photo studio is located upstairs - the make-up and the photos set in a great album only cost me 18,000rps - Great bargain!

Well I can help you with Lahore, since two already covered peshawar..
In lahore, you can get wedding dresses from Liberty, Anarkali bazaar and Rang-Maal. They have gorgeous stuff. For a really beautiful dress, look for something in range of 50-100,000 RS (or $800-1000 USD). Once you get your dress, you can get the shoes, matching churiyan and bag (if it doesnt come wiht one already) from the same shopping center. You can deff get matching gold jewelery, with gold they eitehr do laquer (paint) or add colored stones or beads.
As for parlors, Allenora, New Look, Mighty, Depilex are some of the best ones. I'm sure there are more but these are the only ones i can recall. I don't know exactly how much they'll cost you, a safe estimate would be at least 15,000 Rs for bridal makeup/package.

Good info, Sara! I also wanted to add Madeeha to the list of bridal makeup in Lahore. She's gotten very popular there, and there's also Ather Shahzad. From what my sister told me, the top salons are now charging Rs. 30,000 for wedding makeup and hair.

Anyone know of any good places to go shopping for wedding and bridal outfits in Peshawar Pakistan? Also what would be a good place for bridal make up in Peshawar? Your input would be much appreciated, I'm going to Pakistan in April and I really need to know where to go in Peshawar for my wedding shopping?

Second Depilex for bridal make up.....I suppose there may be other places just as good but I never had time to do much research into it.
For clothes - NOT R-Sheen! There are loads of little boutiques in Saddar that have much nicer and cheaper clothes.

I remember every one going to peshawar for shopping(specially imported clothes). I always pictured peshawar as a big shopping mall . Plus a qahwa khana.

For bridal make-up go to Aroobs in Hayatabad - they are very professional and very good! Photography is absolutley brill as seen by some peeps!
As someone said, dont go to R sheen, there are plenty more boutiques around in Saddar who do amazing stuff
