^ I was wondering that too. Blackrose, try and get him some special things that you know he'll definitely love/enjoy. If he loves sports, great tickets that would normally be too expensive, fabulous pen, etc etc. I got my husband a really expensive suit that I know he'd normally never buy, and really nice watch. And then treated him to things he enjoys, such as a trip out of state, etc.
