most pictures from shoots are photoshopped and airbrushed so the skin looks much cleaner. If you get a professional photoshoot done, good photographers give super awesome neat perfect pictures!

i agree, but there's only so far you can go with editing. i am a graphic designer too, and do this kind of stuff myself as well ... and there is an extent where you just have to stop and protect the picture from looking fake. i mean not like it isnt already fake, but fake in the sense plastic and noticeable fake. you wouldnt put pink on the eyes, if that was not needed in the end anyways ...
and the pictures of my friend ... her skin looked really nice in them, all glowing ... but i couldnt ignore the chamki eyes ... and the fact that in real she is a very petite girl, but in pictures her faced looked quite big ... (something that happens with moi too 0_o )

farah, masha-Allah you have beautiful lips....you could get away with anything.
personally I prefer the clean and nude look and since you have the perfect line and fullness you could really pull it off better than most.

awww thankx muzna ... if the red works on me ... i think i wont stop wearing it ... i really love it so much ... hahahahah ... i've always worn nude lips ... and now i just wanted to do something "waaahhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" :D

i say go for red all the way! i always wear nudes or hardly anything on my lips…and went for a russian red from MAC with gold eyeshadow and bold eyeliner and lashes for my wedding. it gave me that extra ::umphh::
I did the smokey eye and pinks/nudes on the valima :).

I think very few women on this planet can pull red lipstick off and usually its ppl with asian skin tones.
I don't think fair girls should ever wear red lipstick because it just drowns the colour from their face.
Some parlours can be difficult about doing trials on you because you don't always get the same make up artist on the day of the wedding

well i’m basically from lahore, but now m in netherlands .. and will be back here after the wedding too 
… wedding is end of dec/beginning of jan InshAllah.
but honestly .. iv really been thinking about who to go to .. cuz on my engagement i went to khawar riaz … i didnt feel good with madeeha’s, and ather-shahzad OTT of my budget for just an engagement … not that i didnt like khawar riaz … i really liked him … becuz i wanted a creative look … and now… becuz i’m thinking of a simple clean look … i’m really getting drawn to the idea of doing it myself 
… i dont have horrible skin that i cant take care of it … but then, who knows … let’s see … i’ll let you know

cameroon diaz looks pretty sassy in her red lips ... so does penelope cruz ... gwen stefani looks weird without her red lips .... and the model who's running the campaign for max factor nowadays ... i really dont like her in red lips ... too thin lips too carry it off nicely ....
there is a tutorial on the MAC website of how to create the perfect red lip ... i think its pretty helpful.

YAY! more power to you! khawar riaz is pretty good, except what i dont like about pakistani makeup artists (generally speaking) produce quite generic brides. Despite the fact we are all different in real life, as brides, everyone looks the same...
I had my makeup done by New Look for nikah but opted to do it myself for the reception (US).

I'm going to maraam and abroo for my bridal makeup in 2 months time in Lahore. I'm really hoping for a neat, naturally blended, yet pretty look. lets see how that goes. I also decided not to go with madeehas and ather shehzad. You might want to try out Nabilas and Mariam Khwaja who are also good

I have MAC's Russian Red and just love love love the color! I also have a softer red by Loreal and thats pretty good too but not too bold as the Russian Red.
