hi guys ..
nowadays it seems everybody is going for the dark eyes and nude lips feel for their wedding day … almost both days (barat and valima) … i was wondering … is it too much to wear red lipstick with a red/bright-colored dress?
when to avoid a red lipstick … wedding days and otherwise …

i think red lipstick looks great with a red dress (or bright colored dress), especially for barat. if you want different looks you could try the nude lips or light gloss (in pinks and corals) on your mehndi and valima days and do the red lips on barat.
i say go for it!

I think if you want red lips go for less dramatic eye shadow…like a nudeish eyeshadow with liner but with bright lipstick!

i normally dont dare wear red lips ... but the wedding day is one day i dont want to not dare ... hahaha ... but the deal is that i might be skipping on the barat and just having a mehndi/nikah plus valima ...and i LOVE both looks ... the smokey-eye/nude-lips and clean-eyes/red-lips ... and i am extremely confused as to what to go with :P
and i have a private crush on penelope cruz ... love her Mango campaign look and this one that you've posted alvena ...

I did red lips on wedding day and nude on valima. However, I also had smokey for both days and it looked fabulous. Go for a trial!

I love Red lips for Barat day... but not sure whether to go for the look or not.. well i've got sometime yet, so lets see what happens...

i think red lipstick really depends on the person and the shade of red they're using.
i do love the blood red (russian red from the mac lipstick) .. not a patakha red, but a gorgeous full red color … but would it go with my not so fair complexion … or is maroon better?

it can be sometimes darker or lighter according to days ..

these are such nice clean looks ... why cant pakistani make up artists put together such a clean look? my friend paid 70,000 to ather-shahzad for a one day bridal package (including 10 or 15 pictures) ... and she is christian, so with a nice big white gown and all ... and ofcourse she wanted a clean sun-kissed look ... something like the looks you've posted alvena ... but they put glitter on her eyes ... and didnt give her the most clean look ... and afterwards she was like .. i was so nervous and tensed, i didnt bother and was just liek whatever ... she wasnt totally satisfied with them, although she paid big bucks ...

I think if you ask for a nudeish eye or a more natural eye it looks much much cleaner!
I think long thick eye lashes, and bold eye liner with natural shadow and red lips is a good look!

Wow, Beyonce looks so different in that ad..
If u have darker skin u can get away with a stronger look and more dramatic lips, very fair skin can look shocking with blood red lipstick imo
I think both! try kat von d, she has amazing shades in berries, and the deep maroonish reds (highly pigmented), nars (indian red) is gorgeous.
*I dont like mac lipsticks solely because no matter how many coats you apply, you can still see the lines on the lips…i prefer the smooth look!
