Any oone based in Karachi?..im going in Febuary, and i wanted to order my wedding and mehndi cards. Does anybody know contact details of a good company or a good shop who does them?
I dont want them paindoo…want them modern and elegant…no hearts and flowers and trees and fountains etc…should be classical, starting with Bismillah…but the outlook has to be simple and realistic…
so any websites guys?..im sure ‘SOMEONE’ in Karachi would make them…i thought i’d order them now and by the time i go they will be made…what do u think?
try googling "wedding cards karachi" or "wedding invitations karachi" or any combination of the above. you'll probably come up with something.
do you know anyone who's gotten married there recently? you could ask them for recommendations. if you can show them a sample you like, they'll probably be able to recreate it.
a couple of really good invitation people online:
google "bella figura" and "stephita" - i can't post url's here right now apparently.
if you google "couture wedding invitations", lots of companies with really gorgeous invites come up. print out some pictures and take them with you when you have your consultation with the wedding card people in karachi. im sure they'll be able to accommodate you!
i need 30 mehendi cards and total 50 wedding cards.....
and im coming on 3 Feb to Karachi for 2 weeks?.....
so i neeed them......can anybody suggest some good wordings for the cards?.......and any companies who make them???????????????????????????????????????????????????????
maybe just wait till you get there- take a printed 'folio of designs you love, and then do the research while you’re there. do you have family in the city? they might be able to help you out.
Pakistan Chowk in karachi is a famous area for wedding cards.. lots of shops. Got mine done from there too.. Famous is one such shop.. its huge! actually all shops had good stuff .. whatever suits ure taste really... though.. the modern ones (or "creative cards" they are called ) were a bit on the expensive side (considering u need plenty of em).. like 65 rupees per card (had banarsi finishing).. looked nice but i thought it a waste of money since ppl read it and then throw it away the day after the wedding...
but ya.. pakistan chowk is the place u need to go :)
oh and 2 weeks is more than enuff to get em made... i got mine done in a week :D
and dont worry bout the wording... they have loads of matter that u can just copy.... i was amazed at the vocab used :D ... very very smooth and not at all paindu hehe

i went to pakistan chowk about 4 times, to order wedding cards. i had fallen in love with a wedding card from india and asked so many people there to replicate it and they said it would be impossible as u cant get the same quality paper in pakistan. at the end, when i thought we wouldnt order the cards from india (and thank god we did in the end), we were thinking of ordering from prism printers or this other shop in the same lane called designer cards (or something of that sort). anyway, those are the only two shops in the whole place that are somewhat decent but still suck. if u cant order ur cards from india or dubai, i would say get them from those two places in khi.
