i heard the food is really bad at PC, have u looked into other halls...when is the event? which month?
hey..my firend's walima is in PC on dec. 17 and he told me he's paying about 950 per head I believe (n he said he had to involve a contact to get a booking at such a short notice ( 1 month prior) so i don't know if his contact had influence over the rate or not)
decor is extra.
these rates are for lahore and there's only 1 dish allowed in lahore (1 salan, 1 rice, naan 's free, 1 raita, 2 salads, drink extra, n i think tat's bout it)..if u r not planning it in lhr PC then i dont know bout the rates.
sum places in lahore allow for more than 1 dish but u've to give them 2-3 lacs before teh function in case there's a fine. if you are caught and fined then ur 2-3 laks go to waste and if not caught then hotel would give u tat back after teh function.
lemme know if u need more info..i think i know quite a bit lolzz

my barat is on dec 15 in lahore's pc, yes we also have one dish, but have attended 3 other wedding with one dish & i think thats enough, we cannot eat more then that, & after watching biryani infront of u ,one always forgets the rest things, anyways but 950??? that was last year in 2007 when we paid this on my nikkah ceremony, now its 1100 for chicken & 1150 for muttun dishes. we r having chicken dishes on mehndi & mutton on barat.

do also check out royal plam...if u knw anybody who is a member thn the rates are only 950 per person....and the halls are perfect...dont even need deco. if u want pictures i will send them to u, but u can contact them...they replied me back in 24hrs.

I had my valima back in 2005 at the PC and im pretty sure we had more than one dish. I remember eating a variety of food (its such a blur to me right now though) and the food was quite nice..

it was my wedding at PC,lhr in jan 2005 and the buffet was there for all the guests and it was in Bukhara ..everyone loved the food...it costed 125 Grand..!

hay galz.... leme gv u sm info bout Royal Palm.... my Engagment function held there.... thy strictly follow Marriage Restraint Act,, according to which thy offer one dish meal bt thats enuf for a person,,, menu is :
chkn biryani
mutton qorma
fresh salad
apple chikn salad
soft drinks
tea
coffee
qehwa
n dessert rus malai + gajar ka halwa
n rate was 1250 per head ..
thy have different halls for 50 to 1500 ppl...
food is awsm n ya there halls are tooo gd....
my aunt got married there but I dont know the prices but it was really nice!!

^^ i contacted them last month…and for members its 850 (before drinks n tax) and for member ref. its 950…thats not bad at all…i just have to find a member now..hehehe…j/k
of course these prices will be different by the time my wedding comes around but i love their halls, here is a pic:
