Many of you ladies are moderate-conservative muslims, and even for those of you who are liberal.

What would you do if your husband asked you to wear dresses in public because he likes it?

Dresses as in knee length? ...

my wife wears summer dresses that are full length and a jacket on top of it to cover the short sleeves/sleevless part

Knee length. I don't know, maybe even higher. But we'll leave the topic at knee length. You know something tasteful like an Ann Taylor dress, but still showing leg.

Oh and I’d like to add: He wouldn’t want his daughters to wear dresses, but he sure loves it when the ladies around him are in dresses.

I wouldn’t mind…I love long flowy dresses…and I would wear a little cute jacket to cover the sleeveless bit :chupki:

I said long flowy dresses…I didn’t see the part where it said it would go above the knees or it should be knee length…

I do not like knee length dresses…makes me feel dorky :cb:

I wear knee length or even a little bit longer dresses with leggings(spell). I mostly wear ones with short sleevs and small necklines..

sometimes I wonder it is almost same as wearing pajama kurta/kamez...why dress with legging(spell) becomes such a big issue with desis.

Are you sure you dont want to talk about skirts rather? .. dresses sound too shareef for what you are trying to ask.
