What did I say about whining insecure females?

And what the hell do you mean by majority of hijabans. Stop talking out of your ass. Nearly all Hijabans are decent - just a few that give a bad name to the rest. You people only seem to notice the messed up ones.
it took just a 9/11 for the world to judge the whole islam.

ppl generalize.. its human nature.. personally i have seen a girl making out with a guy in hijab.

i think if u r doing hijab do it properly.. or dont do it at all. its a big responsibilty, not a joke. and that goes for men too. dont wear it if i ur braid is coming out and u r wearing it loosely over ur head. dont wear it if ur wearing some tight clothing where every part of ur body is popping out. the purpose of make up is to look good and attract other. dont wear it if u r so keen on doing purdah n hijab.
there are lot of things that goes with hijab and it takes a lot of effort to wear one properly. i admire those who can pull it off.. but i hate those who make the mockery of it by wearing it as a fashion statement.

first, all of you have to understand hijabans r HUMAN too! HUMAN YES HUMAN!!! just like urself…they are not perfect, they are not angels, they make mistakes JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE!!! now that being said, yes hijab needs to be done properly but just because u dont have enough courage or watever it takes to wear the hijab dont criticize girls who do..

secondly, If you are muslim u CANT deny any ayah of the Quran. SIMPLE! Theres nothing that annoys me more than MUSLIMS whinning about wats in the Quran..if its there then follow it!!! n if you cant, atleast be guilty for not doing it instead of justifying ur acts..

thirdly, yes as hard as it is to believe hijabans r human n they DO make mistakes

^ but thats the point.. if u can't do it properly.. well its not "hijab" anymore is it? :-)

well obviously girls like that arent brought up right...they have to look a certain way to feel good about themselves but something is better than nothing..n alot of girls like that end up doing it properly
in my opinion its a start n better than making stupid excuses not to wear it..plus my def of hijab is a bit strict anyways

Women with Hijabs are still atractive… If women really want to stop attracting attention, they just shouldnt come out of their houses period…

To tel u the truth brothers and sisters...... when i considered to keep a beard, i thought to myself.....
"If i'm gna keep a beard then i've obviously gotta respect it, for keepin
a beard is no joke" and so i planned to keep myself frm doing bad deeds as much as possible b4 i started to keep a beard.

But then i was advised by an Aalim/Maulana that by keepin a beard in itself wud keep one away frm commiting sinful acts.
For b4 one thinks abt doin a sinful act he wud think in his head
"Wot am i doin?? I've gt a beard and i've gta respect it. Wud our Prophet (saw) hav done such an act?? NO!"
even if its a minor sin or a major sin, the question u've gta pose to urself is WUD OUR PROPHET (SAW) HAV DONE SUCH AN ACT??

ALHAMDULILLAH, i started to keep my beard, and alhamdulillah it keeps u frm doin sinful acts majority of the time. I mean i knw it cant stop one frm doin sinful acts altogether but atleast it decreases the amount of sins one does.

** May Allah (swt) giv us all the ability to abide by the teachings of the Holy Quran and follow the sunnats of our Prophet (saw) as best as possible. AMEEN **

While Hijab is mentioned in the Quran (which makes it mandatory),
the word "hijaab" has never been used in the context of a dress code for women.. The self proclaimed scholars of Islam will have you believe it.. like all other things they point to the Qur'an but when challenged come out with obscure interpretations based on other literature to distort the meanings of the Qur'an..

A laod of bull****.

Why are all the non hijabans suddenly on fire?

I mean come on people.Covering up is mentioned in the Quran. If you dont do it, then quit being offended its not anybodys fault but your own decision. And yes hijabans are humans, they make mistakes.Hijab doesnt mean a piece of cloth on your head, but the rest of your outfit, and your actions, and how you treat others , and everything else! Wearing a hijab doesnt make you a perfect Muslimah. Its just a one of the aspects that must be followed along with the rest. However, they just have taken their faith a step further by wearing it.Allah is the final judge, but if you wish to pick and choose parts of Islam that you follow, then dont criticize those that maybe following it a step more.

Show me WHERE in the quran it says wear a Hijaab.

And no we are not "on fire", we are just pissed off that people presume taht they can patronise us with a **** piece of writing into wearing the hijaab. You think you have moral high ground by covering your hair?

Good for you. I'll see you in hell.

And yea it is "your" fault if you keep trying to shove how we should practise our religion down "our" collective throat. Especially if you are a male.

For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient and constant, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast (and deny themselves), for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in God's praise -- for them has God prepared forgiveness and great reward. Quran 33:35 ]

"O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed..." (Qur'an 33:59)

The Qur'an says: "Say to the believing man that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that will make for greater purity for them; and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; and that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands..." (Qur'an 24:30-31)

Surah Al-Nur (the Light) (24:31) in the Quran states: "They (the believing women) should draw their head coverings over their bosoms...". . Surah Al-Ahzab (33:59) states: "O Prophet [PBUH] Tell thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they should put on their outer garments; that is most convenient in order that THEY MAY BE RECOGNIZED (as Muslims) and not be molested."

Why are you "pissed" off at the females who wear hijab.Your anger should be directed towards those ideas that proclaim that you are lower because you dont wear the hijab.

Actually this piece of writing is not offensive at all.Its a conversation that I can relate to, because its an issue that comes up so often. If you dont want to wear the hijab its your own CHOICE.Dont blame the piece of writing.

People tend to be only offended if something is disagreeable.Take it as a piece of writing thats discussing an issue.Keep your cool, because frankly getting angry at the hijabans isnt worth it.

People dont realize that Islam is a way of life.Wearing a hijab alone doesnt exactly grant you entrance into Jannah.

mq on fire, aik nahin dou nahin teeeeen nahin but 4 big quotations u go girl :D] ... on a serious note whomever wrote this rythmic poem is just whining and disagreeing with something that should be done or observed not just in the start but through to the end of the poem. WHY? there is nothing good about backfiring like this girl i assume does at every proposal thrown at her.

You tell em Muslim-Queen. I gotta say it does suprise how many muslims are trying to criticise this piece. I bet they don't get so angry when anti-Islamic stuff is posted.

Probably the same people who apologise to every white friend for 9/11 'on behalf of the Muslims' or deny that Jihad does exist in Islam in the right circumstances. Not forgetting celebrating Christmas.

Maybe they should actually read the Quran and some Hadiths for a change.

Could this not be interpreted as a 'duppata,' or 'chaadar' covering their head to be drawn over their bosoms?

It doesn't mean strictly hijab then does it???

MQ do u ever read the Qur'an like it was supposed to be read.. MINUS THE BRACKETS INSERTED BY YOUR FAVORITE MULLAH.

They can make anything to mean anything.. just add a lot of bracketed text.. and make it look like part of the Qur'an..

PA, so why dont you tell us that you have Ph.D. in Arabic and you can teach us how the Quran is read.
Please enlighten us.

Minime Bhaijan, until there are Female Molvis, Female Moazzans, Female Imams, Female females, it all sounds a pathetic academic exercise. Without equal representation and rights of females, it is futile to discuss female specific issues. Is there any place in the Quran that states that a woman cannot be a Molvi and lead a prayer? And I don’t think one needs a PhD to ask these questions.

All your quotes pertain towards being modestly dressed, which I have always maintained is AN islamic code of dress. You have proved nothing from them. Still I cannot see where it says

"where thou doesnot wear a scarf, thou shall be smited"
And yet the Koran is highly explcit on other matters. Have you pondered why tis so? Maybe becasue it was MEANT to be open to personal interpretation. Maybe my religion is mine and you haveno right to enforce a code of dress upon me.

For an english teacher your comprehension skills sure suck. I said "we" and I speak colelctively here, are pissed off with with who presume that they can patronise. If you couple that with being a haijaaban than that says more about you than about any other issue at hand.

The whole argument is flawed, I wouldn't be so offended if it wasnt for shmucks like Fita who don't have beards, telling us we are insecure for not wearing Hijaabs. And frankly, the red and blue writing is something my sister could do better at. The legic is flawed nd so forth.

Why was the nonHijaaban portrayed as a bimbo, becasue she doesnt cover her hair she must be a stupid shmuck like those of you who patronise? Again logically flawd.

I havnt nothing against Hijaabans, my mother was an Hijaaban, my little sister is, they are fulfilling what they see as their religious duty, however if my mother has never rammed her religious leanings down my throat who the **** are you?

That my dear muslim queen is what pisses me off.

"This piece" you refer to is a **** piece of writing. It has nothing to do with the downfall of the muslim ummah, but rather the intellect (or lack there of) of the unimaginative shmuck who wrote it.

Critically speaking it really is ****, it misses its target audiance completely by stereotyping them and reaffirms the morals assiness of some How not good for scarf sales.
