GenSec, ^ this is the man you wanna get in touch with when he is in Pakistan. Like YKKB said, he will take care of the photography, laptop, internet access (remember you will be in remote region with limited to no internet access), as well as volunteers and conenctions to the right people who walk the talk as well.

Get your shots now -- require'mnt is a week before u're exposed to teh area. Ah well, get em now!
Hep B you should already have. Tetanus Toxoid!! (a must) Vibrio Cholera shot and two more (I'll tell u on the fone once I confirm).
Don't bring a suitcase of clothes. Just jeans and a jacket. Won't have much time to change anyways.
Personal medication: tyelonol, amoxicillin, anti allergic, etc, hand sanitizers.
FACE MASKS! GLOVES!!. are a must.
