I need 5-10 volunteers, who know how to operate a laptop computer and are willing to go from village to village collecting data which will be used to publish an online victims database which help families around the world to locate their loved ones…
It is not an easy task, you will be taking pictures of the survivors, as well as lost children, dead bodies (for identification purposes)…
I would, but i can’t afford to pay for the tickets and besides the biggest obstacle wud be my parents, they wud never let me go no matter how much i want to and beg them…Sorry!
Can we at GS, gather enough funds to buy a ticket for at least one volunteer? If someone is willing to answer GenSec's call and do the work as required for at least two weeks, we will pay for his/her airfare and accomodation. He/She may also spend time outside of two weeks as he/she may please.

If you are worried about disclosing your identity while making the donation, then just go to any 7-Eleven or Post Office and make an annonymous money order and send it to an address in the USA. We will figure out where to send later.

I request all of the working guppies here to please donate some part of your next paycheck to the relief fund, the initial estimates are just for the basic needs of teh people, they will need our help for a lot of other stuff so keep it in your mind, 20-50$ from your next few paychecks will not hurt u much but it will do a lot for them..

i can possibly volunteer my sis, she is an RN in pediatric ICU, no kiddies so can travel, she can use computer too. as far as funds, we already donated to oxfam so our funds are depleted. do you want to send my sis? let me know ...

Guppies, now that we have a volunteer, the only thing stopping from helping those suffering earthquake victims, yes the ones you see on GEO and ARY, is a few $$$$.

Also guys, we need people to help us out with entering database that GenSec's team will collect in Pakistan to online.
This is how it's going down:
GenSec and his team/partners will collect the database and then will upload it to my FTP and then I and whoever are willing to help us out will publish them online.
So don't think that if you can't donate money or fly to Pakistan, you can't help. Feel free to PM me or GenSec.

quick question, why send a volunteer from here, it would probably be easier to find local volunteers, and this way $1000-$2000 can be used to mobilise 3-4 ppl from lahore or karachi rather than just one from US.
