I have always maintained that Australia holds the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in world rankings....they have automated the game of cricket in a way no team has....and their brutal perfformance in this WC has proved me right.
Wonder what Saby has to say about this now....
Some1: I, too, can only sit in awe and applaud the ease with which they are gonna storm to yet another WC win. I hate it but I will not hold back my applause. They have overcome their shortcomings in spectacular ways. Streamrolling every team is just unbelievable.
Havign said that, I still stand by my words that the gap between australia and other teams is small than it was in 2003. The cracks they have shown prior to this worldcup are not just flukes. You do not lose on four occassions in short span of time after scoring well over 300. They will not be able to replace McGrath and Warne (Gilchrist is not gonna stay any longer either and you cannot ever hope to find another one like him). I never said that they are not the best team in the world =)
