Thats the way I am used to. Also this treatment is normal with conversion to other faiths i.e Christianity/Islam / Qadiani etc

I expect same honour and regard in judaism if i fullfil their crietaria. Now my only concern is if it is possible then how ? What is the procedure to follow in order to convert to judaism ?

I think you need to take shahadah....or something like that.

Go to a rabbi. The rabbi will advice you to stay a gentile because becoming a Jew is not for every person, since it comes with alot of responsibilities. If you still insist on converting to Judaism, you will have to go through a learning process which will take you atleast a year. You will learn about the 613 commandments and other stuff such as Jewish holidays etc. Then after the learning process you will be tested by a rabbinical court and they will decide If you can become a Jew or not.

as a side note, if and only if we were this much concerned about fulfillment of criteria of the religion we are blessed to born in... how different this world would be

if you are serious about it, why don't you list down here the "things about religion" which made you leave Islam (if you are muslim). there are many knowledgeable posters around here, they may help you understand the correct concept and put things in perspective for you... or may be you talk to some Aalim for that matter?

subhanallah, how easy it is to convert to Islam compared to this... just say shahadah, and you are done... all sins gone, start a new life afresh. after that just make sure you don't pollute yourself with all the same bad things and shirk... an open invitation to all, if they read this. don't let your ego stop you...

And that sounds repeling. A new religion should not impose such harsh requirements upont new recruit

Its ok that no learned jew is here but There are a lots of Rabbi in North America big cities. Do they preach ? please tell me honestly ?

If some of them do preach then they do it for projection or attracting converts ?

Is there any good video of jewish converts on youtube like there are gazzilions of muslim converts? please share if you

Can I ask you....WHY you want to convert to Judaism, and what was your religion prior to that?

If you truly love Judaism, and if you were to study it, you'd realize how Musa (Peace be upon Him) foretold about Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon Him).
Islam is the complete religion-notice how the religions came in order?

Judaism-Christianity and then Islam, and there's no other after it? Ever wonder why?

Because the Jewish didn't follow their religion properly, they went astray from commandments of Allah. Consequently, they were replaced with the Christians, and soon the Christian did that also..So then comes Islam.

We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it. (Al-Hijr 15: 9), Allah promised to protect it.

The word has not been changed. The truth lives on.

Now you tell me, what use is going to people who do not know and seek knowledge from them?

What is the use of asking a question to someone, when you know they can not answer it?

Please don't take offense. I would like to understand why you chose that religion, when people of those religions will not fully accept you.

Like I already told you before. Unlike Christians and Muslims, Jews aren't looking for converts. And If you go to a rabbi and tell him that you want to convert, he will try to talk you out of it.

The closes one to you I can think of is perhaps in Karachi. There is a Synagogue called "Magain Shalome". You might want to try your luck there.

Magain Shalome was torn down in the 1980's. But yeah Judaism is a really great religion and probably one of the few religions that make sense now a days.

My bad, the new Magain Shalome is in Ramlah/Israel, thought they rebuilt it in Karachi.

Where did he say that it makes more sense than Islam? He only said that it’s one of the few that makes sense and I totally agree with him. It certainly makes more sense than Christianity.

I didn’t say more than Islam. Judaism and Islam share many of the same characteristics. And like Zapatista said it makes more sense than christianity.

well i dont know the exact procedure to become a jew , but it wouldnt come as a surprise to me if a sunni muslim wants to convert to judaism, because well.. Muslims are waiting for the literal fulfillment of the second coming of Jesus(AS).. and at the same time, accept Jesus (AS) as the Messiah who was to come after Moses(AS).. (fulfilled Moses prophecies.."not the literal way").. and yeah.. lots of similarities between judaism and today's sunni Muslims...

its a good idea to start from the beginning and actually wait for the appearance of the Messiah and not take anyone as Messiah until he fulfills every prophecy literally. Go for it code_red.

I have other issues to deal with in my life rather than keep coming back to you people and keep answering and knowing your senseless beliefs will not change even if i were to provide you tons and tons of evidence from Quran.. like Allah says.. those who are blind in this world will be blind in the hereafter.. ( dont take it literally for goodness sake )

is this another one of your mullah's requirement to be known as muslim?.. to show the knowledge you have to the world ? i have knowledge alhumdulillah.. i dont need to show the world.. and no, i wont be quiet in the matter concerning Allah, the true religion Islam, and i , as long as i live will speak for the true teachings of Islam.. as long as Allah doesn't cause me to die for doing such things , and forever make me silent , i care not one bit if you tell me to be quiet.

You accept Jesus for fulfilling prophecies metaphorically, so dont keep bringing ur childish joke of metaphor on me.. a jew can say the same to you.
