A fresh rumour is being sent round that Shangla has fallen to the Telly-tubbies. If this is true then Besham could be next - and that will be a major blow as it will cut the Northern Areas and Indus Kohistan from the rest of Pakistan - there are many troops stationed up North and trade with China is by this route too.

Antiobl its about time the beloved army you are supporting did something rather tan letting them breed and spread dont you think? Some people are easily sucked in by cozy statements made by leaders from Pakistan and USA …

** Pakistani gunships kill four militants in Swat** PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Nov 13 (AFP) Pakistani helicopter gunships destroyed several militant positions in the Sambat area of Pakistan’s northwestern Swat valley Tuesday, killing four followers of pro-Taliban cleric Maulana Fazlullah, the army said. The militants were killed when helicopters pounded four bunkers and blew up their ammunition dump, the army said in a statement. Another five insurgents were injured when helicopters blew up a checkpost established by militants in Sarani. Rebel hideouts in two other villages were also targeted, it added.
