How does everyone feel about that? Like, say you’re watching a movie and some nudity comes on screen or a couple having sex etc, what do you guys do? Does it get awkward? Does someone forward it or it’s not a big deal since everyone is adults?
As for me, I don’t think it’s a big deal, especially if it’s not explicit (and if you’re watching a movie, most likely it wont be too explicit due to censorship and all. However, porn would obviously have explicit content and that for me is OUT OF THE QUESTION and thank god my guy is quite modest and finds porn pathetic), that being said, a little nudity/sexual content isn’t a big deal, IMO.
And I’m not talking on an Islamic level, just what everyone is comfortable with. I’m comfortable with it (dont wanna make it sound like I encourage it!) and it being natural stuff such as a human body or sex definitely lessens its severity. Another reason is because he keeps me VERY secure about myself and that definitely lessens the awkwardness that could potentially kick in if I felt like the world would come to an end if he happened to see some nudity while we’re watching the movie.

We're not too bothered, if it's going on for a while we might switch over for a minute. Anyone watched 'The girl with the dragon tatoo?' The rape scene was horrific, we kept hiding behind our hands a praying it would hurry up and finish.

Exactly! No need to watch it if it carries on and becomes OTT. And yes, that scene was horrific and quite graphic.

Just reminded me of something, remember those old indian films where the baddi would rape a girl in the middle of the village, infornt of everyone, wasnt that a bit sick, then i didnt understand it, and it got forwarded anyway, but thinking now how vulgar is that.

^i totally agree, that would be fun, it all seems like mood building stuff for the physical side of love rather than the lovey dovey movies. not too much into the lovey dovey side of love, am i really a woman don’t make fun of me anybody

well i'm not married but my friend and i got this movie where in there were 3 couple , each who wanted to get married in a different theme.. and the first couple was a nudist couple.... lol so it was like me , her and her mom who sat down to watch the movie and the first scene is of the nudist couple on bicycles ( stark naked ofcourse) ...hahahaha... we were like did we just see that ....god too funny... and no we didnt forward or anything watched the entire movie ... lol !!! it was hilarious... i think the second couple wanted to get married whilst playing tennis !!! can't remember the movie's name though !!!
another extremely funny incident... again am at the same friend's house staying over... so early next morning .. they decide to go grocery shopping ... i said i don'tt wanna go and stayed back at her place...... decided to watch a movie till they came back.... she had a huge collection of movies all neatly lined up.. so i pick " Mr. Clean " thinking that hmm.... neva heard of this one before.... so sat down to watch it... it was full on porn !!!! one of her brother's cd's which he forgot to hide !!! i mean its right there in the front row !!!! lol lol... i still think if some had ever walked in at that time... they'd think i stayed back to watch " Mr. Clean " ...hahhahahahahahahhahahahaha

Whats wrong in watching such scenes with the husband? I mean my friends and I are looking forward to be able to watch full movie without forwarding the scenes which we have to forward when watching with our siblings and family. Well, I don’t know what will be my reaction until I will have to face such situation after marriage, of course, but…

I cant remember a single movie where a sex scene/nude scene came and it had a justification. I dont know why they add such scenes in otherwise good movies. Like in case of 'Wanted' I dont know what was the need of couple of semi nude scenes.

We usually just look at each other and roll eyes and make some comment like, "ummm, what's the need of this..." But yeah, funny as it sounds, I think it's a little weird seeing other people do stuff.

Muslims are not allowed by Allah (swt) to have a level other than an Islamic level. A Muslim doesn't twists his opinion for the comfort of everyone. HE should be comfortable with what Allah (swt) is comfortable with, that is not to watch what is forbidden, no matter if one is alone or with one's spouse.
Muslims can't become non-Muslims for few minutes, have their personal comfortable opinion, and then back to Muslim lifestyle. My personal opinion (against Allah's opinion) isn't allowed once I say Kalima. (Not even in a general discussion, not even in a joke).
