what kind of relationship do u have with ur parents specify mother and father that wat kind of relationship do u have with ur mother and wat kind of relationship do u have with ur father.like my mother is my best frend and dad is an ok sort of frend.mom to apna jigar hain.i share everything with my mom.

mama is my best friend and i love her more than everything 
She is the only person whom i can talk to about everything and she gives me the best advices. When im down she cheers me up and i feel much better within seconds.

my mama is my best friend too. There is no1 whom i love more than her, there is no1 who can understand me better than her, i can talk and discuss anything with her. Mama rules 
I have a good relationship with papa aswell, but ofcourse i cant share everything with him, i feel more comfortable telling mama everything

With my mum, it is a lot better now than it was a few yrs ago...still have to hide a lot from her, but not as much as before...i like my privacy, so there r many things my family doesn't know about me...i love my parents very much...but i get along better with my mum than with my dad...unfortunately, my dad n i barely talk...been like that for yrs...it's just sorta normal now...i guess every family has their own "dysfunction" going on, whether they show/admit it or not...my mum is so different from my dad, but alike in some ways too...just that my dad's ways are very difficult for others to live by, and he always think's he's rite n bla bla bla...so basically, my mum n i fight like sisters (as my fiance puts it haha!) and my dad n me, well it's more sort of a strictly business type of relationship, he does joke around with me sometimes...but i think both of us r just used to the silence now...my mum is wot keeps our family together, God bless her :)

I have a very very strong bond with my mother.
I don't have that strong of a bond as I once did with my father, due to my parent's divorce.

Well, my mother passed away when i was 15. At that time, i wasnt that close to my mother. After i got married i really missed her and wished she was there for me. But then again, such is life. But after her death our father became more of a friend, who was really strict before.

i've been on and off, ducking down, raising up.... regardless of everything that has happend, i believe that if parents arent happy, u are BOUND to not be happy in life later on...
regarding relationship.. it depends what it is ... with my schedule i spend more time around mom cuz of our job timings than dad.. regarding my education's choices, work choices, even social choices, i find its easy for me with dad..
FAMILY/house/home related stuff, i find mom much easier to talk to ...
i still keep my privacy... dad is a bit supportive of having my room seperate from rest of the house (awkward job timings, friends visiting, sheesha smoking etc), mom is more concerned towards my food and body choices.. .. so it all depends..

I am close to both of parents now, but it wasn't same before. We had our differences but thanks to Allah everything is resolved. I am glad that they are my parents, they support me on my every decision. May Allah give them happy and long life, ameen.
Sometimes things happen that makes you realize how important that person is in ur life and I guess thats what happen b/w us. :)

Used to be sweetheart, especially my Dads. Since a few years, everything is changed, it's on and off and never like it used to be.

Like most of you , my mom is like my best friend. I've always been closer to her but for the past year or so, our bond has really grown stronger. As far as dad is concerned, he the guy who usually won't take a NO for answer even if he's wrong, so I try to avoid him to avoid the arguments. Things have been pretty calm for the last few months thank God and my relation with my father is improving.

Moms and especially Dads aren't flawless, parents can make mistakes too. They can love their children when they are little and change when children grow up. You see different sides of people once you grow up and you understand more.
If you are unlucky in that way you should keep in mind not to make the same mistakes with your own children.
