i think he is great because he can speak 3 languages or at least had released an album in 3 languaged, Pushto, Urdu, and Punjabi. I am not just sayin he is the man becauce im Pathan, i think he sings for everyone in Pakistan and i met him too he is a really nice guy.
His Urdu and Pashto songs are cool…
But Punjabi… lol…
Did you know when he sang the song “Chana ve chana…” or something he didn’t know what it meant and he thought ke khaaney waaley channey ki baat ho rahi hai… lol… 
I love his music, although his pashtu is hard to understand for me. It's very 'pakha pukhtu' kana?
Rahim Shah's one of the best in Pakistan all these other singers need to take a break and let him do the real work.
AND WAHT DO U MEAN HE CAN't SING IN PANJABI?
Channa is way better than most of the other panjabi garbage that paki singers try to sing

apart from channa i like few of his old tracks such as Chiraga and the pushtu track peera (i’m not pushto) so i cant understand the words, but the track sounds awesome!

When it comes to vocals....Rahim Shah, Najam Sheraz, Jawwad Ahmed and now Ali Zafar are the best. the rest is kachra, bathroom singers, no sur or lay (excluding our great rock singers ali azmat and ali noor, as they don't fall into the melodious singers catagory).

rahim shah is top draw for me, he is a awesome singe with a gr8 voice which he adapts well to all the different types of songs he sings. i think his punjabi ain't bad @ all
the 1st song of his i listened to was pehle tu kabhi kabhi gham tha which is indian singer altaf raja's copy i think but anyways the song was class, then chirata & peera whcih had gr8 beat 2 it.
then i bought saba ru album of his and from then onwards he has become my favourite singer in pakistan, no one can sing like him, although shazia manzoor is slighlty better then him i feel, she is gr8

What a shame, this is to set the record straight. Gham was the original track, released on Pakistani airwaves wayyy before that Raja ****** came up with his copied version. And as usual, our every Boohey Barian, every Gham has to be dealt in a similar way by those Anu Maliks in Indyland......

let me help u out :D gham is a really old pashto song that rahim shah resang in pashto and then later changed into urdu. zubeen shah has also sung a panjabi version of the track it's good too :). altaf raja made a clear copy 100% word to word beat to beat
