Waseela Se Mangna

Re: Waseela Se Mangna

Peace wais88,

  1. The hadith u quoted earlier means that a person came to Prophet :saw2: and He :saw2: made dua for him to Almighty Allah. That means Prophet :saw2: directly asked Almighty Allah. It is between Prophet :saw2: and Allah, right?
  2. So the another thing is that the person approached to Prophet :saw2: and asked to do dua for him from Almighty Allah. If so than one should go to a Prophet (by making him as 'waseelah) to do dua for him from Almighty Allah but alas Prophet :saw2: is the seal of all Prophet a.s. so there is none for us. I think this point is done here.
  3. Moreover if Prophet :saw2: made dua to Almighty Allah for that person than its means the ‘waseela’ from whom Prophet :saw2: is asking is Almighty Allah. So if we follow the sunnah (as u said earlier its sunnah) of our Prophet Muhammad :saw2: than we are in fact asking directly from Almighty Allah that ‘Ya Allah! fla fla pr raham kr’ boly to ‘waseela’ is Almighty Allah ko banaya pr us shaks ke liyeh jis k liyeh dua karni hy. This match with S#2. I think it is Sunnah than.

In the above verse Almighty Allah ordered us to seek ‘wasila’. “Wasila” translated by ‘Pickthall’, ‘Yusuf Ali’, and ‘Shkir’ are:

And seek the way of approach unto Him
And seek the means of approach unto Him
And seek means of nearness to Him

In the same Holy Qur’an, Almighty Allah told us how be near (to seek the way to approach) to Almighty Allah in Chapter 4 Verse 80: “He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah; but those who turn away - We have not sent you over them as a guardian.”

I highlighted some words in colors and if you read and understand all 3 points than u’ll know that in the hadith, what Prophet Muhammad :saw2: did (made dua to Allah for a person) is an ‘act (sunnah)’, so one who do same act it actually doing/following ‘Sunnah’, of a Prophet :saw2:. Doing/following the Sunnah means obeying the Messenger so “He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.”
