Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
As I said before please speak with respect when you refer to our Holy Prophet SAW.
His heart was taken out of his body on the night of Miraaj and washed by the Angel Jibraeel and there are many authentic hadiths to support this.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, “While I was lying in the Hateem or (he may have said) in Al-Hijr, someone came to me suddenly and cut my body open from here to here (referring to the part of the body from the throat to just below the stomach.)” … The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam further said, “He then took out my heart. A gold tray of Imaan (belief) was brought. My heart was washed and filled (with belief) and returned to my body. Thereafter, a white animal, smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me.” (This animal was the Buraaq) … Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam (describing the animal) said, "The animal’s one step (was so long that it) reached as far as the animal could see. I was carried on it and, accompanied by Jibraeel alayhis salaam we reached the nearest heaven. Jibraeel alayhis salaam requested for the door to be opened. It was asked, “Who are you?” He replied, “Jibraeel.” He was asked, “Who is accompanying you?” He answered, “Muhammad”. He was (once again) asked, “Has Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam been called forth?” Jibraeel alayhis salaam replied in the affirmative. Thereafter it was exclaimed, “Welcome to him. His is a most excellent visit.”
When the door was opened, I entered and saw Adam alayhis salaam. Jibraeel alayhis salaam said, “This is your father Adam alayhis salaam. Go and greet him.” I went forward and greeted him. Adam alayhis salaam, replying my greeting said, “Welcome! O pious Prophet and pious son”.
Thereafter Jibraeel alayhis salaam ascended with me until we reached the second heaven. (The procedure on the second heaven right up to the seventh are similar with regards to Jibraeel alayhis salaam having to knock and being questioned, etc., except that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam met different Prophets on each heaven. On the second heaven Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam met Yahya alayhis salaam and Eesa alayhis salaam; on the third heaven he met Yusuf alayhis salaam; on the fourth Idris alayhis salaam; on the fifth, Haroon alayhis salaam; on the sixth he met Moosa alayhis salaam, and on the seventh he met Ibrahim alayhis salaam.)
Thereafter, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam says, "Then I was made to ascend to Sidratul Muntaha (i.e. the Lote Tree, the utmost boundary beyond which no angel even is allowed to cross.) Its fruits were like the jars of Hajar (a place near Madinah) and its leaves were as large as the ears of elephants. Jibraeel alayhis salaam said, “This is the Sidratul Muntaha.” There were (also) four rivers there. Two were concealed and two were visible. I asked, “What are these two kinds of rivers?” He replied, “The hidden rivers are two rivers in Paradise. The two visible rivers are the Nile and Euphrates.” Thereafter I was shown Al Baytul Ma’mur (The Sacred House). A container full of wine, another full of milk and a third full of honey were brought to me. I took the milk. Jibraeel alayhis salaam remarked (with regard to the symbolic significance of the preference of milk), “This is the natural religion (Islam) you and your ummah are following.” Thereafter the salaat was enjoined upon me. Daily, fifty salaat were made compulsory.
When I returned, I passed by Moosa alayhis salaam. He inquired, “What have you been ordered to do?” I answered, “I have been ordered to offer fifty prayers.” Moosa alayhis salaam said, “Your followers will not bear fifty salaat a day. I have tested people before you, and I have tried my level best with Bani Isra’eel (in vain). Go back to your Lord and ask Him for a reduction (in the number of salaat) for your followers.” I went back and Allah reduced this number by ten. I then returned to Moosa alayhis salaam but he repeated his earlier suggestion to me. (Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam continued to heed the advice of Moosa alayhis salaam and continually returned to Allah Ta`ala to request reductions. When there remained only five salaat, Moosa alayhis salaam once again suggested that Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam return and request a reduction. Nabi sallallahu alayhi wasallam replied.) “I have requested so much from My Lord that I feel ashamed (to ask for a further decrease). However, I am now satisfied and I submit myself to Allah’s order.” [Bukhaari]
Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
MuHammadun basharun laa kal bashar (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) // yaaqutu hajarun laa kal Hajar.
MuHammadalayhis salaam is a man, but unlike any other man // a diamond is a stone, unlike any other stone.
In this regard jaabir ibnabdallah al-anSaari raDiyallahu `anhumaa said :
“i asked : yaa Rasulallah! my father and my mother be sacrificed on thee! tell me what was that which Allah created before anything else?
Said he (Rasulallah) : O jaabir, verily Allah created the nuur (light) of your nabee (prophet) MuHammad (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) from His nuur, before he created anything else. And this nuur (of your prophet) stayed so by the Power of Allah as long as Allah willed. (note that i have translated yaduuru bilqudrati idiomatically than literally; else it would mean it roamed, circulated ) and at that time there was neither the LawH (the Tablet) nor the qalam (the Pen) nor jannah (paradise) neither naar (Hell) andneither any angel and neither the heavens and neither the earth and neither the sun and nor the moon and nor human and nor any jinn.
when Allah wished to create something else, He made four parts of that nuur.
from the first part he created the qalam (the pen) from the second the LawH (the Tablet) from the third the `arsh (the Throne)
and He divided the fourth part into four more :
from the first of this fourth part He created the carriers of the `arsh from the second He created the kursee (the Chair) from the third the rest of the angels
and He divided the fourth part into four more :
from the first he created the Heavens from the second he created the earths from the third He created the Paradise and Hell
and He divided the fourth part into four more :
from the first he created the light of the believer’s (mu-min) eyes from the second part the light in their hearts and that is the gnosis of Allah from the third part the light of solace and that is the TawHeed – Laa ilaaha illallah MuHammadur Rasulallah sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam
(fataawa al-Hadeethiyyah pg. 59,60)
^Good information. Thanks for sharing.

HADITH
"Fourteen thousand years before Adam, upon whom be peace, was created, I and Ali were a light in the presence of God. When God created Adam, upon whom be peace, He divided it into two parts. I am one of the parts and Ali is the other part."

gentlemen & Gentlewomen
Please spend your time and energies in some thing productive, does it matter that X believes he was Human and Y believes he was Noor, let every one have their own perception
Once Halagu Khan invaded Baghdad, it was the 40th & the final night on the debate between scholars that either eating crow is Halal or Haram, he killed both the camps.
There is no democracy in this regard over here that if one camp goes into majority, the constitution will pass the ammendment, the knowledge rests with Allah and let it stay with him, lets not speculate and fight

^I just heard the same thing during halaqa after taraweeh yesterday. The sheikh quoted this hadeeth: anna wa ali um min noorin wahid (about Prophet being noor).
Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
The real reason for muslims going astray is mixing mystical beliefs with a simple religion of Islam which is more concerned about living a fruitful life than these discussons.
Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
Don't you think it is shirk to belive something which is not in islam??
Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
Shirk is only believing in any one except Allah
However other mystical practices are Bidaat, whose precise definitions our Imams have never been able to produce.
As i am not responsible for your beliefs and deeds on Qiyamat day & neither you are of mine, why should you or me go ahead than merely telling the right thing, if the other party does not want to believe, why waste your time.
Re: Was the prophet NOUR??
LISTERN DEAR:
Hazrat Jibrail (as) belongs to "norrani Mahlooq" but look a the even to MIRRAJ, when Hazrat Mohammad (saws) was allowed to cross the line at the time to see the signs of ALLAH SUBHAN WA TAAALLAH, and Hazrat Jibrail (as) was not allowed to cross it, that means Prophet is greater than Noor of Jibrail (as).
See the book of (FAZAIL WA AAMAL) where on the battel of UHUD Prophet Mohammad (saws) says, HE IS FROM ME AND I AM FROM HIM and then Jibrail (as) came down and said : I AM FROM BOTH OF THEM.
Now see the HADITH IS SAYING SAME... FIRST ALLAH CREAT MOHAMMAD THEN ALI and THEN JIBRAIL (as)
ALLAH HAFIZ

I agree. The topic's already been beaten to death numerous times in the last few months.
