Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

:)

No sweat. I can imagine the frustration (Bughlain Jhaankna) on the 'gang'. ;)

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

^ Comments like "That's a pretty strong statement :)" in more positive threads......is of course far from ganging up and is a very mature thing to do, Diwana. Do you ever look at your own mistakes and juvenile behavior? You're blind to it.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

Oh Gidsa, I feel your pain! But really, a word from someone who's been through it, just walk away - because the back-and-forth is so not worth it!

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

RV this is not the place to discuss other thread. PM me or open another thread. I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.

P.S. The word was 'powerful' not 'strong' just to refresh your memory. Sorry if it hurt you, but I merely praised the statement the way it was said.
And yes it was a powerful statement. There was not even a hint on agreeing to that one. (Still that does not mean I agreed to other posts there)
Great to see you are letting that out and not holding back. Good honest gesture. Bravo.

Apologize to those who may be bewildered of this conversation.

:rotfl:

There is no shortage of stupid, brainless and ludicurous mindset people in this world as it is proven here.

The link is here for detail and yet another proof. Thanks to Iconoclast.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

^ that's called "abstract art".

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

It is very well expected that GDIASA will never be able to explain why this stupid piece of most expensive 'art' worth this ludicurous amount of money.
The so called art lovers should just put their heads between his knees.

Shame on these art lovers who spend millions on pieces of garbage.

Especially if the same amount of money could save a lot of people from dying from painful lives around the world just because they could not afford essential needs.

Human lives are still superior to pieces of garbage they pay for. Prove me wrong if anyone can. :)

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

Wow. For a different reason this time. lol.

By that token, people should stop spending on anything and everything which is less valuable than dying humans around the world. We should even stop spending time on forums and do something more productive.

Abstract art ~ Absurd art

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

Haha I suppose everyone's had their share of Diwana at some point. I know, that is exactly what I plan on doing.

Bru, the painting is worth over a 100 million dollars because someone finds it worth that money. Art doesn't get priced based on the cost price of its raw materials, the man hours invested in its creation and then a percentage mark up applied to it. Its not a commodity in that sense. Everything is relative. Why is gold expensive? Surely its not the most useful element is it? Its relativity and scarcity that combines. Each work of art is rare and someone out there feels it speak to them.

You're either awfully slow or pretend to be. If someone spends their money on a work of art, they're stupid, brainless and ludicrous? A question to your statement might not be the cleverest thing I've done because it will only make you respond to me, ugh. But they appreciate something you will never ever will. And there's nothing wrong with you. But when you hate on it, that's when you lose any dignity in an argument.

Its worth so much because as I already said, someone is willing to pay that much. I have never said the Mona Lisa should be expensive. I called it a revolutionary painting in its techniques. RedVelvet threw down a great post with the individual characteristics that make it so great.

Shame on them? Why? It is their money. And it is most definitely not garbage. I can understand why you'll never understand this. You don't think its worth that much but someone most definitely does. Why should they spend money saving people from living painful lives? What says they don't already? You judge them but you don't even know them. As Princess has said, you can stop posting online because you're better off doing community service. I hope you get the point.

That's the beauty of abstract. It is absurd to you and maybe the most beautiful thing in the world to another. Thank you for your expression, now you know.

P.S. And I don't blame you at all. I feel sorry for you. You're entitled to your opinion but I implore you to expand your horizons. No one is forcing you to like it for the sake of liking it. We're talking about specifics and yet you refused to get the message. Nevermind though. Its sad, for there is so much beauty in this world and yet you'll go through your life missing the point and oblivious to it. That my friend is truly tragic.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

I am sorry to even engage in discussion with you. Utter waste of time.

Keep your love with absurd pieces of canvas covered by colors. More power to you.

Those who spend millions on small piece of canvas sure have a right to do so, then that does not mean their act is not shameful and pathetic for others.

The abstract art lover would find beauty in anything if it is for sale for over certain price my dear. Higher the price more they would drool over and praise longer. Shows how gullible these people are.
For them I must say:

'Ahmaqon' Ki Kami Nahi Ghalib
Ek Dhoondo Hazaar Miltay Hain

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

I'm surprised you know anything about poetry even.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

This shows how wrong your expectations are. :)

Music, art and poetry is no foreign to me. Just that absurd art needs to be pointed out quite blank...regardless of how many dumb people are there to defend a third class art.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

I have absolutely no expectations of you. I don't even know you and I prefer it that way. And if music, art and poetry was not foreign to you, you would not express the opinions you have. You missed the point. Entirely. Anyone half sensible would have realised what we tried to say.

Nevermind though. This is a pointless exercise.

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

Why would I not express my opinion? That is actually considered an expectation from you.

Its not just my opinion. It is shared by a lot of people around this world. You are being too sensitive about it.

OK. To make you feel good. I will say its a masterpiece and depth of this is not understood by me and a lot of people!. Have a great day. :)

Re: Was Mona Lisa a Man ?

You can express your opinion but try and express it in the context of the debate because otherwise it just comes off as drivel. That was my point. I don't find it the most amazing painting ever either. I never claimed it was. For some reason you cannot comprehend that. Its not deep. Its just the technique that is very valuable. Wait, I'll just stop myself.

I'm out.
