Are you a halfwit? The technique is revolutionary. The field of view of the portrait which challenged established full-body portraits, the focus variations in that painting and the intimacy shown were not applied before the Mona Lisa. Everything changed after contemporary artists followed Leonardo Da Vinci’s technique.

Now unless you know what you’re talking about, I’d probably suggest that you walk away.

P.S. I agree it is not amazing when talking about the painting itself but the processes are something you cannot call over-rated.

Its not just me there is whole debate of this portrait being over-rated. It is not universally considered a great masterpiece.

Try not to show you are somehow ‘cultural’ by showing your half knowledge of the matter or blindly following the crowd.

If an artist cannot create an expression of a face and causes ambiguity, then the artist is not so great in making that painting.

One can create a big deal out of nothing and still can make nothing out of nothing.
