When I watched Miandad play,ethnicity never crossed my mind.He was my favourite cricketer.I like Imran too.He led from the front and made Pakistan a force to be reckoned with.On this occasion, though, my opinion is that he didn’t make the right decision.

I won’t call a Captain World class Captain or one who led team from front, if he played 38 matches (after Hyderabad incident), won 7, lost 6, and drew 25 matches … especially when that captain in his disposal had top bowlers (Wasim, Waqar, Imran) and top aggressive batsmen (including Miandad). I would call such Captain, defensive player hiding in his shell and always looking for draw. Result shows that, as he drew 25 out of 38 matches he Captained after Hyderabad incident.
