One, I keep hearing that the slaughter of a few thousand Jews (otherwise an extremely exagerated number) in WWII was due to Christianity’s hostility against the Jews which made Hitler hate them so much.
Next, I keep hearing that the Swastika represented Godlessness and the slaughter of Jews is nothing to do Christianity.
Which view is more truer?

Athiest, who used to believe in the concept of Aryans thats very much evident from Nazi symbol. Had a close affinity towards, Darwins, theory of survival is the fittest. He was a fascist, who had a problem with superiority complex. He thought the Germans were the most superior race, and promised that his empire will last for 1000 years.
Since he believed in darwins theory of Survival of the fittest, he mutilated scores of his own people, who were physically handicapped. This is again the concept of survival of the fittest, as the physically handicapped individuals would be a hindrance for the Growth of mankind.
The above concept is derived from the Growth of apes to what the Human is today. Basically, this concepts defeats the concept of creation of God, and that all the creation, was created by chance.
Overall Athiesm is only caused destruction to world from Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Khmer Rouge i forgot the name, Marx, Mussolini(Hitlers accomplice). Millions have been massacred, because of the concept of Communism.
Hitler what you call as holocaust killed so many Jews coz they believed in God, In Russia, muslims were massacred, Combodia millions massacred. Under stalins rule, millions massacred.

^ Because since he was born in a christian family, initially having christian values an average person still is made to think he was a Christian but his beliefs were totally different.
But he disbelieved in Christianity have you ever thought why the symbol of Nazi and the symbol of the Hindus Om(hope thats the name), issimilar .

The Hindu symbol is called 'Swastika' which is where the Nazis got the name of their symbol from. The only difference is that one is clock-wise & the other one is anti-clockwise.

So Christian can get away saying that this person is Athiest, where as if a non practicing muslim has done something its the Islam which comes under fire.

As far as I know he was a christian with very right wing christian belief. The nazi symbol too is different from swastika. His symbol comes from old christiain gothic churches in Baveria or Austria. I dont remeber exactly. His main opponents were the communist and killed many in Germany.

How Hitler came up with the swatsika type image was like this.. (my teachers tells us): When he was blinded by chemicals during the war (he was a soldier) he went to the hospital to receover, once they opened up his eye cover, he saw this sign appear. That is how Nazis got their simbol.

hitler was definately a atheist he abhored the influence of the church but did not oppose them openly as that might alienate some of his woun supporters as even many of the waffen SS remained devoutly christian
