Re: Was Alexander the Great a Prophet?
Peace Seminole
Okay good dictionary lesson on the word 'mistake'. I was being nice by the way. Let's get back to the claim.
You say that by being a homosexual it would not disqualify ANTG (the N stands for NOT) from being a prophet. Now that you clarified your position it is good for me to say that for you and your personal beliefs that ANTG is a possible gay prophet. According to Islam homosexuality is a sin and prophets do not sin. We will follow the example of our prophets and you can follow the example of your ANTG.
What? Not satisfied? Try animals then? Or machines even? Oh ... you don't actually think he is prophet do you ... you are only playing the wild card of possibility. Semi please say things that you yourself believe in or you will be held to account here.
I think you are being very careless by the way.
Thank you for being "nice". Very civilized of you. Now let me lay out the things I believe so you can feel free to hold me to account.... I don't believe the Quran to be the words of God (inspired maybe, but not literal). I don't believe Muhammad is the last prophet or the greatest prophet. I don't believe his life is the ultimate example for all to follow. I don't believe Alexander the Great to be great at anything outside of warfare which in my book diminishes anyone's spiritual greatness. I don't believe homosexuality to be a sin (I do believe promiscuity and infidelity are, the only way homosexuality was practiced 1400 years ago). I don't believe homosexuality can be campared to bestiality any more than praying to God can be compared to praying to an animal.
I do believe it is possible to follow the basic tenets of Islam and get to heaven.
