Nope ... I think ATG has often been confused as Cyrus the Persian. DhulQarnain. We believe he was a guided and inspired, he may have been a prophet, but don't know. However, ATG was known for his polytheism.

Alexander was a pagan who often insisted that he be pronounced God... prophet eh? :)
Kurosh Bozurg (Cyrus: Zul-Qarnain as explained in the Quran) and his alleged teacher Zoroaster could very well be prophets

before alexander, allah had punished a nation for being homosexuals. So by the time alxander came no back-door rule was established.
So he can't be a prophet being a gay.

Of course there were gay prophets. Even with the conservative figure of a homosexual population of 3%, that still represents almost 4,000 out of the 124,000 prophets.
BTW in both Christian and Islamic versions of Sodom and Gomorrah, God destroyed the cities because of gross immorality. It is only the opinion and traditon of scholars (which people have made part of the religion) that God murdered all these people to show that homosexuality is against God's law.

^ 3% of the population, not 3% of a person. I hate to bring up objective things like statistical averages. I suppose when one is convinced that all the subjective stuff like religion and holy books aren't really subjective can be confused by facts.

Muslims don't have a clue of who, where and when was a prophet. Here's another statistic for you - only .002% of the supposed 124,000 prohpets are mentioned in the Quran. So who knows who the rest were, their sex or their sexual orientation.

Prophets sent by Allah can not be "gay"...prophets rejected this kind of act, and Allah chose prophets who were clean in the heart and mind. Prophets made mistakes but never sinned.

hunted. After spending so many year conversing with non-muslims about islam I have learned that its not a job for a faint of heart.
People are going to be blasphemous beyond our imagination. If we need to talk we have take that punishment.

Of course prophets sinned. As you said they weren't perfect and made mistakes, those mistakes included sins. Learn Islam? I have found out that nobody here "knows" Islam. There are as many opinions as there are posters.

Prophets may have been 124,000 in number ... but there definitately is no normal distribution of prophets ... nor of gays for that matter. You will find areas that harbour more of them more than the statistical average and likewise none of the prophets were from them so your statistical average may still work. Also, gays have increases since times of yore because they are becoming more socially acceptable.

We don't need to know who all the prophets were, but we need to believe in the ones that are mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith and we can trust those mentioned in the previous scriptures. If we are open minded to the fact that prophets were sent to all nations and they all essentially had the same message. Then it would be wrong to assume that they could be gay because that would not be the same message. Also, it does not rule out that they could be women but from what we know about women Maryam (AS) is the best of women and being the best of women and not generally accepted as a prophet then it follows that no women could have been prophets because no normal woman can be better than a prophet.
So whether we know or don't ... the who and whats about them it is not as important as the message that they all gave which was Tawhid and this is confirmed in the hadith that all prophets were sent to confirm this one point.
Conclusion ... your post is a red-herring.
