well, i think it is no secret and guppies know how much I love waqar as a fast bowler and yes i rate him to be the best fast bowler produced by pakistan (better than akram and imran) but i finally concede that he is not a very strategic coach and it is time for him to move on…
what really surprised me that this time he could not make any big difference to our fast bowlers either or maybe they are so pathetic that not much can be done abt them. I know how waqar transformed rana naveed into a pretty decent fast bowler and he started to bowl those deadly yorkers at will.
anyway, waqar is a total legend and any other board will use him to train their young fast bowlers. that is what he shd do. train fast bowlers. he shd stay away from full time coaching
