Talking of yourself you seem to be blind from short fallings of taliban and massacre of innocent people that al-qaida commits. Taliban did have a good effect on the law and order situtation on Afghanistan. However after placing security turned oppressive against the population and encouaged secretarian violence in Pak and allowed terrorists training schools.

i dont have information on this person, and thus i cant comment on that issue.
but let me say...not anyone who claims to be implementing sharia is perfect. there are imperfections, lack of knowledge, funds, resources, or even sincerity. and then there could be propadanga from enemies too. so these factors combine to make the issue hard to comment upon. taliban were there for 6 years, so we could see their progress and comment, but this khyber issue is so new we gotta see what this guy is reall up for. may allah guide us all.
ok you say sectarian voilence..hmm, that started well before taliban, and will continue on, for better or for worse. there is no denying this fact. blaming it on taliban is not fair because sectarian fighting has been around from the begining and will continue on only until allah wills it to stop. however the training camps issue, i support them because jihad is part of islam and training men for this duty is not blameworthy. well about AQ, that is for a different thread, but taliban did claim that the aq were not under their control and they did bar them from engaging in terrorism from afghanistan. again, if taliban had their mistakes, which i know they did as no one is perfect, i dont know their intentions as only allah does, but i think they were sincere, and if these so called ulamas of the ummah had been to afghanistan to teach them the islam they talk about in their sermons from airconditioned mosques rather than to criticize men who are under the sun with almost no money but lot of courage to stand up to the west and are trying to implement islam, that would have been helpful. but they only criticized them and only intervened in trivial issues as saving the buddah. the MUFTI from al azhar personaly went to afghanistan to save those false idols while people believing in Allah were being killed due to war, famine, and poverty and that mufti or the ummah didnt give a hoot. taliban asked for help but got cold staring eyes in return and that is our fault as a whole that we failed them when they asked for help...and now we should atleast not criticize them...
