pashtun culture is at the mercy of religous fanatics like talibans who is ill-legal offsprings of ISI. we are always used on the name of islam by people across the indus. the first jihadi mullah to disturb us was syed ahmad shaheed bareillvi who came with his wahabi agenda. but pashtuns at that time were not that corrupted so he was kicked out. in the succeeding years various mullas from subcontinent came and corrupt us.

Making Pashtuns Soodhkhoor, CHokidar.. tell me is it not true that it the majority of soodhkhors in Sindh and Punjab and even in India are Pashtuns or people of this area? And about chokidari, no body have forced this profession on them, they travel from their homes to different part of the country and they work as chokidars, same for some punjabis and sindhis who go abroad and do same kind of jobs, now if you are saying that hard-working is something bad and instead of being chokidars they should be looting banks and homes then you are totally right...
Now being the gay side, majority of gays does exist in Peshawar, Mardan and other cities of NWFP. now instead of blamming others to calling you something what you are why don't you go back and try fix the problem. one more thing you haven't mentioned is, pashtun or people of this area sell their daughters and sisters in the name of Marriage. Anyone with money can go there are buy their ladies, use them the way they want.. and these people seemingly don't care about what happens to their loved-ones after that so-called "marriage"have you got enough guts to raise voice against these and other evils in the Pashtun society.
I am sorry but the truth is not all the Pashtuns are bad or talibs, but most of taliban are pashtuns, Molvi Fazl.ullah is not from any other part of the country, he is from their, other so-called taliban are again from the same region.

Believe me, i have witness one of this "So-called"marriage and was thrown out of the house when objected on the legal and religious standing of doing so.
In Arab countries, Men have to pay for the expenses, but the way majority of Pashtuns or the local people do it, it is nothing more than a selling deal. They sell them like goat or cow... withour giving a S**T about the where abouts of the groom..

No brother, that is totally something else, in our family it is tradition that the BOY has to provide the jewelery, home appliances and in some cases the home as well and transfer/buy some property on the name of bride.
But taking money for a girl and performing her nikkah to somebody you don't know.. does this thing is remotely linked what i have said above.
