Are you saying that despite President Musharaf no longer being a COAS, the leaders of parties elected in the freeest and fairest election in Pakistan history have no power to oust President President Musharaf the help of the USA. Cool.

uncle, my concern is not whether respected guppy called certain Political party terrorist or not, my concern is how you define terrorist, and hero?

Everyone knew the sympathy vote would occur, hence the postponing of the elections. But the TV channels did an even better job of making sure that sympathy was raised - nearly everyone was talking about Benny after she died like she was some farishta going as far as to label her a "Shaheed", a title that jack-arses in Islam typically shouldn't be getting.

As you have th right to decide who has. Actually I'm sorry only GOD has the ability to label some one shaheed and you are in contact with Allah directly. So you know she was more than a jack-arse and had no right of being shaheed. Thus you feel she is burning in hell right now.
Mashallah, I wished (we) every Pakistani/Muslim would think as blunt and one dimensional as you do.

Ali-R, its the same argument the other way - calling someone a shaheed and raising them up to be a martyr when their actions show completely otherwise, that she was working against the Pakistani people, whether due to her own volition or weakness in allowing people to manipulate her. She helped create the Taliban mess in Afghanistan and Pakistan is paying sorely today for those policies of training "jihaadis" for fighting in Kashmir.

Muslims have a right to not be deluded by people muddling up history to make corrupt people look like saints, and when you start advocating that we make them look like saints, then you're no longer in a position to declare what is shaheed or not yourself.

I'm not saying she's NOT shaheed. I'm saying simply that she was very corrupt and had done MANY horrible things to Pakistan as a leader, and she should be rememberedas such. Not as this theoretical loving mother and wife and muslim that she was paraded around to be after her death. No dignified muslim would have behaved the way she did, running off to foreign powers to get herself back in power. Wasn't that sign enough of her ineptness?

I think you have cousins in punjab so you are a punjabi, right? No wonder you are going in tandems and not coming and condemning the statement that karachi be attacked. Karachi doesn't equal MQM in its entirety.

PS Just forget it. closed minds will remain closed minds. When you have people who are still here who say they wish karachi gets bombed for no reason then it tells one a lot about the mentality that is prevalent here...

i am more karachian than any other ethnicity i possess and i dont need prove that. my concern simply was that dont follow any political party, cuz non of them is not any less corrupt then the other.
