The simple point remains. There is a lot of places in the vatican that not only non-muslims but even the christians cannot go. Those places are simply banned to the public and opened only at the discretion of pope and other higher christian authorities for research purposes. The reason being that they have precious religious artifacts etc etc.
Along the same lines if Muslims want certain areas restricted to Muslims only, then it should be okay with the rest of the world. Why bring Abu Hanifa et. al. into this.
