Voting in Pakistan

Re: Voting in Pakistan

u want musharraf to GO AWAY!!! he wont do that

Re: Voting in Pakistan

No that’s not what I meant. :smack: That always really confuses me. Someone showed me a picture of a bunch of paindoos with signs reading “go musharraf go” and I thought they were cheering him on or something.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

Re: Voting in Pakistan

FYI: I will be eligible to vote for the upcoming elections in Pakistan on January 8th (my birthday is January 5th), I do have a National ID card (I have dual citizenship), and I will be in Pakistan on election day.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

when was the last time a fair and clean election was held in pak? rite now vote buying n selling season is high and to a common person all that really matters is how much you are willing to pay for his vote. as for ppl living in villages/rural areas and rules by waderays or chaudhris, well they have no choice but to vote for them. bcos they get their family members (mostly young kids) locked up in private prisons to make sure their respective families vote for the chaudhry/wadera or else say fateha for them. this is how democracy works in pakistan.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

These so called leaders to be always promise so much, but once elecetd and in office, true to form they never deliver.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

there is no future/hope for pak as long as we have ppl who will accept every aira-ghaira-nathu-khaira as their Saviour or leader. Pakistanis are followers like sheeps. no wonder they get treated like one too.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

aww poor phati, she dont no what pak elections r like :hugz:

Re: Voting in Pakistan

yeah? so u have citizenship of pak? so wht? millions of pakistanis have citizenships but do they live in pak and reap the fruits of their contribution? you want to vote for mushy, sure its ur right. but then stay in pak and enjoy his heavy hand approach and taste the fruits of emergency, mehngai and lawlessness. by voting you are using ur right but by coming back to USA you are escaping the hell hole others will have to suffer in, under mushy n co. its better to boycott and make them no one deserve our vote. you can’t think of it as voting for mushy is like siding with lesser of two evils, bcos evil is evil in the end.

Re: Voting in Pakistan

Can brits and americans vote in Pakistani elections? :halo:

Re: Voting in Pakistan

brits don’t know. but americans yeah…they are the one who truly determine
whom to come in power and what to do with people and resources. :halo: pakistani vote is super-seed by their desires and interests. :nook:
