^ that weblink does’nt shed any light because it does’nt even work
as for voting in non islamic country elections it not allowed because it man made system i.e man making the laws instead of allah(swt) so obviously this not permitted we dont put man made laws above allahs laws
lol.....why do u wanna know if voting is allowed in islam.....well....in islam u cant tell becuz back then nobody knew wat it was...so now u have to have elections in order to declare 1 person who can run the entire country.....its nuttin bad about it....
this weblink says its ok to vote because you voting for the lesser of 2 evils, but this does’nt make sense there is nothing in islam that allows you to vote for lesser of 2 evils haram is haram right.
As Muslims it would be haraam for us to vote for and elect politicians who are kaafir and implement a system other than Islam. The politicians rule by what they feel is right, so even if they feel it is right to provide us with a masjid, they can also feel it is right to wage war on a Muslim country, killing our innocent brothers and sisters.
It is true that as Muslims living in a non-Islamic society, we face many challenges regarding our rights and means to worship Allah (SWT). We are fortunate in that we have places of worship, halaal food shops and the ability to wear hijaab in some places. However, there are many Islamic practises we cannot achieve, and to entertain the thought that the West will secure us these rights will be a mistake.
We cannot participate in the political systems of the kaafir, as they contradict our most fundamental beliefs; that Allah (SWT) is the only on worthy of our obedience and that Islam is the correct way of life to live by. However, this does not mean that as Muslims we cannot be politically active or have a political voice. Our political activities should be in accordance with the Shariah and our political voice should be that of Islam. As Muslims living in the West, we have many opportunities to engage in many activities.
We have the Islamic ideology as an alternative to the corrupt Western systems, and we have a responsibility to bring forward the system of Allah (SWT) as a challenge to the system of man. We should also remember that we are a part of a global Ummah and that their needs are also our concern. We should highlight their situstion and expose the Capitalist system as the cause of their misery. We should never underestimate our talents and use the vast skills of the Muslim Ummah to achieve our political objectives in the Islamic world and the West. We have many Muslim professionals in finance, law, medicine, education, journalism and computing, to name a few. These skills provide powerful vehicles to understand, promote and carry the Islamic ideology to the Western professionals as well as skills for the future Islamic State. Allah (SWT) tells us in the Qura’n, the importance of standing firm to His (SWT) Deen:
And those who break the covenant of Allah after ratifying it , and sever that which Allah hath commanded should be joined , and make mischief in the earth : theirs is the curse and theirs the ill abode . (Holy Qur’an 13:25)
“And assist one another in acts of righteousness and piety and do not assist one another in act of transgression and sin.” (Holy Qur’an 5:2)
“I do not wish to be an aid to the wrong-doers.” (Holy Qur’an 28:17).
Muslims should not vote in non islamic countries
Muslim professionals should not work in banks, insurance, et al where there is a possibility of ribah
Muslim professionals should not work in the music, film, photography, media,..... industries
Muslims should not involve themselves in sports
Muslim ladies should not study in co-educational institutes in non islamic countries nor work in hospitals, schools, colleges, etc. where there could be male colleagues
......
......
As mentioned in a post sometime back, if you had a choice (all of us do) you should not move to a non-islamic country unless the life of your family is threatened in an islamic state
Islam is also a man made religion. The Prophet of Islam dictated laws and amendmentments as per the notions of the then existing society.
Elections were not a norm in feudal societies, and Muslims have decided that Islam is a God made religion, it is non-sense to expect democracy and elections in an islamic system.
all your points show total misunderstanding of islam either deliberatly or not so i will refute all of them.
Islam is a system from god not from a man the quran is their to disproove it if you can meet the challenge.
The prophet of islam as you call him we call him muhammad(saw) revealed the word of allah(swt).
And your final point voting was a method used in the time to elect khalifah after the prophet(saw) died and it is a valid method to show your support. There is a difference between actual voting which is a tool and democracy which is a system not a tool where man is making the rules not allah(swt).
The only reason why the HT people said that is to serve their own vested interests, keeping in mind that alot of Governments have deemed it as nothing more than a tiny terrorist organization.
