I vote we open 4 threads in every forum, burn down several KFCs, obsess about this as if we have no other problems, insult religious figures as we complain about others doing it and kill people in our rage to justify any comments that Islam is an intolerant religion that advocates violence.

^ Thats the standard disclosure under any online poll.

CNN's online poll is only mildly more relevant than many other online polls, simply because, when it suits them, CNN bakes the results of its online polls to provide their own spin on any given topic.

Like for example here, in a story covering burning of Pope's effigy (I am assuming they are being burnt), CNN news anchor may just slip in a sentence, saying "... while on CNN.com's online poll, roughly 80% respondants disagree that Pope should apologize. We should point out that the results of our online poll are not scientific. Vatican has defended the words of the Pope saying he was just quoting another person".

Anyone listeing to that will come away with the impression that almost everyone (80% is pretty big number) think that the Pope is absolutely heavenly (no pun), and its (again) these moronic, unreasonable and violent muslims who are creating a fuss on something totally innocent.

Spin is king, and CNN/Fox etc are masters of spin.

Nah, I am not signing the petition. It's not worth it. Pope's words reflect a commonly held belief by non-Muslims about the muslim world.

Muslims need to address a bigger problem i.e. the image problem they have. Whinning over pope's comments won't fix it.

I always say that Pakistan should follow the example of Malaysia. Mahathir infact is in Pakistan and Imran Khan who has long been an admirer of his leadership is enjoying Mahathir’s company and being photographed with him.

These votings are highly biased. How my muslims in the world do you think have access to CNN web site?

These votings never show the real stats. If you put the same poll on BBC URDU site I am sure results will be inverted with huge margin.
