How important is a person's voice in their personality? If a person is great to lookat but doesn't have a voice to match the personality is it a put-off?

depends on what does the girl want. If its personality or money or voice you have to look towards the persona what kinda person is the other person dealing with! Some girls would care about the voice over the shine of the diamond rings lmao PREACH!!!

i had a class fellow who is a hunk, but his voice is phata howa dhool, for which i used to bug him, and he is engaged (i think)
so it depends from person to person, and criteria to criteria.

in many cases it is the affectations, tones and accents
some areas really have nasal tones, some have very throaty tones
the interesting thing is that ppl there then adapt their voices to the tones and affectations that are the norm.

i've seen guys who are hot and all macho looking but when they speak they sound like me..it's a turn off

Voice sure is important but at times there are other issues too, like if a person has a normal voice but irritating speaking manner/accent it is also a put off....like Kamran Khan on Geo, voice ok but the way he chews his words, not so ok...PM Gillani, voice ok but sounds constipated
Also the put off factor might be significant initially but maybe after you get to know that person a bit it may fade out..

There should be a fair balance between voice and looks. One factor doesn't compensate for the other. Overall personality is a combination of the two - and hence the balance.
ps - excluding other aspects of personality.
If a guy is good looking but doesn't have a voice to match = put-off
If a guy has a nice voice and isn't good to look at = put-off
If a guy has a nice voice and is an average looker = works!

A really good lookin girl with guys voice is a turn off,.... Its okay if she doesnt sing that great or sings really bad, but she shldnt sound like a guy.

you have to have a nice voice...a drop dead gorgeous guy with a squeaky voice would just make me cringe..
some women have that hoarse type voice…you can tell they have smoked their entire life. sounds terrible

A person can fall in love with the voice without even looking at the face and say they are in love with that person. What more can I say, this happens on GS too:chai:

voice can tell if the guy is gay
