how long does the mixture on face takw to dry..i dont think my husband would appreciate coming to bed with a sticky faced wife..hes already annoyed about me putting aloe vera gel on my face at night...: so was wondering how long this takes to dry, so that i can put it on atleast an hour or so before bedtime...

im not going to use it every day anymore... and would def not advice to use of d powder ;)

whats open pores....so is it best to use it every other day or 3 times a week...or twice...maybe...dont want more spots.....

hi, i have been using this mixture for five days now....

Using the holland and Barret Pure Vitamin C powder, this stuff is amazing!!!!! my skin feels so smooth, after I wash this off in the morning I put Vitamin E oil on my face. that makes it extra smooth apprently vitamin C works in synergy with vit E, so maybe I can mix the two together in the same mixture!!! or will this cause the serum to not work properly?

i cant send Private messages as I do not made sufficent post so nadz....

I have some pigmentation marks on my face and also the odd spot awful as that sounds.

I noticed....

Day 1 the serum tingled. i felt a bit sore and thought oh my god!!! what have i done!!! it felt sticky because of the glycerine, I used the recipe that is on the thread. When i washed my face in the morning it felt super soft.

Day 2...also bit tingly!!!So i thought okay I am going to take a photo because you don't notice changes when u just keep looking at yourself. This way I thought I would hoepfully visibly see a difference after a few applications have and have something to compare with. I read up loads as well to make sure I wasn't doing anything bad to my skin.

Day 3 4 5 less tingling. And now i can actually see a slight difference. The spots have gone. The few spot I had have left no marks. And I am also noticing change in the mark of pigmentation I had on my face also.

I also read that if you put vitamin E on ur skin this helps it to heal regenerate. So i also bought a high concentrate Vitamin e oil to put on my face also this is from holland and barret also the greater the IU apparently this better for you. It does make a difference. my skin feels softer now and gradually i am noticing a difference.

I think the vitamin C helps to exfoliate the skin and helps it to produce new fresh cells

I am not sure which country you are in but now in the Uk it is becoming warm and sunny. So i have started to use SPF 30 sunblock because I don't want the new skin to turn dark if that makes sense. Because its baby skin lol

everyone is different so its best to take a photo before you use it and notice a difference yourself. But for me it has been good. I just have to not be lazy and make the mixture daily because the fresher the better.

midnight eyes, yes that is the one i bought. They keep this not on the shelf but behind the counter in the dark as it oxides when exposed to light so at home I guess its good to also keep in a dark bag in a cupboard.

aw nadz, just read your married, this is not a good look for bedtime lol.because it never actually dries!! it just stays sticky so maybe you can just put it on for a an hour two after cleansing and just wash off!!!!

Has anybody had any orange staining of the hands? I use the holland and barett colourless powder vit c. my hands and nails are a light orange shade. The only thing i can think of is this. maybe i should try apply it with a brush instead of mixing it in my hand

Ohmigosh. no wonder

I got a lil carried away and have been applying it all over my legs and feet. and my nails where a orangy colour and I was wondering why they had turned tht colour. well I'll be stopping tht from today lol.

do you think this orange colour is also transferable to the face?

I haven't noticed my nails turning orange as I mix it with a tea spoon.
