Vital sings were the ones who revolutionized Pakistani pop scene. They were decent in thier approach to the music as compared to Pop singers of that era, (Hassan Jahangir etc etc though no offence to HJ :) )

Ppl here are claiming about Junoon's massive international following and media appearances. I agre that Junoon has international fan club bigger than VS, but thats mainly because there wasnt any media projection like today and VS got all popular just through thier music while Junnon besides thier music is great, benefitted from heavy media publicity campaigns...

All five albums are just sheer beauty. Some of theier initial songs are all time great pop pakistani songs, Songs like Tum milgaye, Saanwali, yeh shaam etc etc.....

one more thing to add. VS didn't went to india like junoon to get a BIG BOOST in their popularity.

beta, these days everyone goes to India, as there is a bigger market out there, its nothing to do with 'big boost to popularity'... Mehdi Hassan, Nusrat Fateh Ali, Nazia Hassan, Sabri Bros, sajad ali etc etc, all went there... Theres nothing wrong with going to India. Btw, 'Dil Ki Baat' was also designed for the Indian market. While I was talking to Ali Azmat a while back, he also mentioned that they are giving Garaj Baras to a song in a movie by Pooja Bhat, called 'Zakham'. Since I dont watch bwood movies, I do not know if that movie is out as yet or not.

Also, it is high time people stop comparing the two bands...

Its supposed to be in the upcoming Pooja Bhatt Directorial debut film titled "Paap" The film has just started shooting. Uss Rah Par was also released in the Indian market by an indian music company. Junaid went to India to promote that album as well.

.

Three cheers for VS! Three cheers for ASN, bringer of VS music and related news!
