Virginity

Why some poeple thinks u have to bleed when u have
sex at first time.
Okay when i had sex first time i was virgin but i
did'nt bleed but thank god my hubby dont think
like that ,that maybe i was'nt virgin.

Nilu -- not all girls bleed the first time, but many do. You're right, it isn't a reliable "test" for virginity.

Catty -- kya hua?

MQ -- I agree. Things would be much better if people could be up front and honest about their past and present. But, as others have pointed out, it's not that simple. It's really too bad.

As for having sex the first night -- I know that a lot of the girls I know who were raised in Pakistan and had arranged marriages assumed they might have to the first night. But whether or not they actually did depended on the guy and his view on the subject.

In any case, I think that many couples do wait -- especially if marriages are arranged.

wohi murghi ki ek taang…

What happens to girls who have been raped or child abused????

I am sorry CurruptAngel,

But I cant comprehend your comment.

:konfused:

it’s been repeated over and over in this thread and other threads on this forum that a woman CANNOT lose her virginity in anyway other than having an intercourse…breakage of hymen does not neccasarily mean that a woman is not a virgin! Do you know that some woman are born without hymen? would you not consider those women virgins?

waaaahahahaha :rotfl:

I am extremely sorry, if I used the wrong word CurruptAngel,

I was talking more in the physical and cultural sense than the Moral sense, hence your comment about losing Virginity is Valid.

But dont you think back in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc most if not all people would consider a broken Hymen as a sign of lost Virginity, (Thru Ignorance ofcourse) and in that case dont the comments I made Apply.

In cases of Women being brought without Hymens, Honestly I was not even aware about it.

Again I was trying to potray a realistic picture about our asian Culture.

She means since some idiots check the hymen and the bleeding next morning to “varify if a girl is virgin”, what about the girls who were raped or abused when they were child? It’s not their fault that they lost their virginity and don’t have a hymen.

The Game Responds:

       * :rotfl: Hilarious! People, That Is All.*

never mind ..not funny.

I think that women have made up this excuse just like the tobacco companies in the 70s that smoking does not cause cancer. They think that if they repeat it enough men will start believing in it. :D

PS.
you don’t need to apologize for anything.

I am surprised and Shocked you find this funny!!!

Imagine your Sister or Daughter, in a situation like this, would you still think of it as an excuse????

I dont mean to judge you or to belittle you, just an honest question!!!

I think that in the past girls used to get married as early as 12 or 14. Since they were so young and the chances of broken hymen were less likely, most girls did bleed upon first intercourse at the wedding night. But nowadays girls get married in their mid 20's and the chances of breaking hymen before marriage are more likely and therefore not bleeding by the time they get married. Therefore, bleeding and broken hymen have nothing to do with a girl's virginity.

P.S. Some girls are not even born with a hymen.

I'm still trying to lose mine. I'm no good at the whole dating game. :)

some ppl are questioning the very topic of this thread but the truth of the matter is that it still happens even in the urban areas of Pakistan. *********
My own close friend became a doctor and her only sin was she fell for a punjabi paindoo.... she being urdu speaking and a doctor and he being a homeopathic doc and B.Sc and on top her assistant didn't go well with her parents. So, she was married of to this man who was 'forced' to do it with her by his family, 'cuz if he wouldn't do it than according to some ppl that would be a blotch on his mardangi... Can u imagine??
And the funny thing is that the next day her in-laws did come to her room to check whether everything went ok :--( If this is the way things are in our society, then I feel really scarred of committing myself to this whole shadi business :--(

It is part of the Jahiliya culture to check sheets and parade around the whole town with it. It still happens in many parts of pakistan, arab culture(mostly) and some african countries..

People with enough knowledge and sense wouldnt do such things, it's certainly not islamic and it's shameful too. Coz whatever happens in the bedroom, should be kept between the couple(islamically speaking)..
