I'm going to get angry, but please dont take it personally. Sorry in advance Lajawab...but I have to get this off my chest.

Why should Americans post a list of Shia Iraqis killed by Sunnis? Thats the job of Iraqi papers - they should be the ones making lists. We'll give a damn about Iraqis when they stop shooting up entire villages and start giving a damn about themselves.

An American killed other Americans and you know what? People give a damn. There are communities all around America grieving for an American loss. They are not imposing their grief onto anyone and I wouldn't advise anyone to impose their grief onto them. If anyone doesnt have anything nice to say about this loss, there are a thousand other posts they can cry in.

Gun deaths are innocent people dying like these 32 students.

They never owned a gun, came across one but yet they were cut down brutally by guns because someone deranged bought a gun and killed them.

Thats the difference.

Where as Cancer is caused by the person smoking and himself dying, Gun deaths take lives of others

I never said i expect it to happen...but fact is if it werent legal things like this wouldnt take place...period...can someone please tell me the benefit of owning a gun?...every other western country lives with making firearms illegal...why do americans get all upset when its blamed for problems that occur...

Heres the thing with guns cos we got a big problem with kids owning them in London at the moment...you get a gun cos you think your protecting yourself...all you do is you raise the stakes...i have never been shot but iv got into fist fights but i tell you this if i started carrying a firearm people that dont like me would do the same...your moving the benchmark up...the only kids that get shot tend to own guns themselves most of the time...you want to enter the big leagues then realise you can get yourself killed...

This is a realy sad news not for me but for whole nation .

Jus to make it more clear , this is wat happened

Shooting took place on the morning April 16, 2007 around 7.15am and 9.45 am in the USA . ( approx eight hrs after the Columbine High School massavre).

Two seperate attacks on the campus of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia ---- 33 people are dead confirmed till now, more shockin including the Gun Man ( what did Gun Man achieved doin this , hve no idea) .Its a deadliest shooting in U.S history. More than 2 dozen other people are injured from different nations , India,local virginian people,chinese,black african people.....

Discription about the Gun Man Cho Seung-Hui

Nationlity - South Korean
Grew up in Virginia - he got the PR(permanent Residency for US )
Was Currently studing at Virginia Tech in fourth year English major
Lived so far : Jan 18 ,1984 - April 16,2007

According to Television news reports on April 17, cho (aged 23) left a note criticizing "rich kids" . He supposedly killed 2 students in a dormitory room
on April 16 2007 around 7.15 am ,police not entirly sure ,probably that might b the reason police took so much time and was not present two and a half hours later 9.45am when cho crossed the campus to continue his rampage in a classroom building.

Deaths included:

G V Loganathan professor of Civil and Enviournmental Engineering who graduated from IIT Kanpur and completed his PHD from from prudue university is shot dead .

Another Indian student , Minal Panchal , is also allgedly missing after the shootout .

and lots others ///

i don't know which deal you talkin about , there no such thing as his girl friend that i heard in news or in television that made him do all this...

It might b his metal imbalance , he was depressed and was takin medicines for his illness , and main point not to forget he criticized rich kids ,so that can also be the key point of killing so many students and why aiming in campus only , he wud hve done smthing else .Well thats wat police is searching right now ...

That main difficulty police is getting to know his behaviour as he was very very lonely person , and was very quite . If you wana know wat happened once when he was in a class doing plays . Teacher asked him smethin, jus to say a word he took 20 seconds and this whole story " i can't post links so --- go to wikipedia main page , on right and side see news jus go on clickin "gun man " u wil find wat m sayin and there is not even a "single word of his girl friend or smething "

Why is there's rant of gun control ONLY AFTER such an incidence. Almost all the criminals use guns purchased illegally, and vast majority of homocides in the US happen by illicit weapons. Now, in this case, he did go through the normal screening process before he picked up ammo and a hand-gun LEGALLY, now how in the world is it possible to judge evil intentions ?

you cant!! which is precisely why they need to take a closer look at the constitutions "right to bear arms".

as long as it is legal for an average joe shmoe to purchase and carry a gun we will continue to see this type of senseless violence.

This is not about guns. It's about very disturbed, socially maladjusted people who have nothing to lose and no joy in life and living.

Taking away guns or right to bear arms will not help those individuals.

you cant remove the mentally ill from our society but you can get rid of guns. Besides it would be rather difficult helping every single mentally ill person in america...it's just not practical.

Yup, that's the humane thing to do, I agree. Why strive for bigger, better things when MAJORING IN MINORS can solve world's problems!

This kid took 33 lives and all of them would've been alive if the mental health professionals were allowed to intervene in his life. The signs were there all along.

Oh yes, and forget universal health coverage, the homeless, the unemployed, cuz helping all of them is just not practical.

I agree , Guns are the fastest way to kill smeone,its jus like an instrument for death ,BUT you keep on saying GUNS Shud be banned ...... i would like to ask you if gun bans can reduce the killings anywhere around,it wud imply those who are willing to murder aren't willing to break the law in lesser ways.If thats the case then tell me more on this .
